Had been an Amerigas customer, but when they stopped servicing gas stoves (w/o warning I might add), we switched to McLaughlin's. Service on the stoves has been great as has been LP gas delivery. We only get it twice a year, but all I do is call and they show up in a day or two. ( Amerigas could take up to 10 days.) Payment is automatic; no muss, no fuss. Even their portable LP gas tank refills are hassle free. And everyone is super nice.

This company loves to force feed you heating oil in the spring and summer when their revenue is down, then bill you for something you won't be using for 6 months. If you don't pay fast enough they will file a civil suit against you. Find another way to support the affluent lifestyles of the owners of McLaughlin's other than off the backs of working people. Their practice of filling tanks without being asked and leaving a bill is a predatory business practice designed to keep them fat and rich year round and you constantly in debt to them. The people in the local Magistrate's office said McLaughlin's filed 29 of these civil suits against local residents in July 2024 alone. So the notion from the owner saying they "don't take advantage of the community" is not true. Crooks.

We first contacted McLaughlin's almost three years ago after not being happy with another service company. Every time they came to our house, the technician was very professional and explained the repair and answered any questions we had. Our most recent experience was this week when our central air unit wasn't working. They sent out a technician the same day. The technician, John Daniels, was able to immediately diagnose the issue, had the parts needed with him, and made the repair. John was very knowledgeable and personable, and patiently answered all of our questions. He is an awesome representative of their company.

New customer to McLaughlin Energy Services. Technician John Daniels came to service our Oil Furnace and propane fireplace. He really went out of his way to explain everything in our new home and did an amazing job. Highly recommend this local family owned company.

Initially contacted McLaughlin’s to do an install of propane tanks at our property. Through every step of the process, from initial contact to getting information to the final install, everything was handled beautifully. They are professional and efficient and yet down-to-earth and personable. They take pride in their work and their work teams are an extension of the company’s goals and mission of giving the customer personalized attention and professional care! Everyone did a professional job!! John and Keith in the office did a great job doing the site survey and talking with me, answering all my questions and working out little details. Bill and Jake completed the install and were smooth and efficient and professional also! Very courteous and respectful of my property. Couldn’t of asked for anymore! A job very well done and I couldn’t be happier!! Thank you, Team McLaughlin’s!!!

McLaughlin’s has always been there for us. Their technicians are friendly, respectful, and thoughtful. My last request was to have my thermostat changed to be able to automatically change from cool to heat as needed. I got a quote for a new one. When the technician came with the new one, he called my original thermostat tech support and within a few minutes my original one was changed to do just that; saving me the cost of the new one and the labor to replace it.

We got a delivery back in November 2022. We had spoken with a lady who we gave our payment information to and we agreed to have the payment taken out of our card after delivery... which is the ONLY thing that makes sense. I called today to get more oil delivered when I was told i have an overdue balance of ~$1300. Spoke to another lady who said the reason the money didn't come out is because its not autopay. How does that make sense? You come and perform a service and just not charge the card we gave you? Someone messed up and they refuses to take accountability. We had set the money aside and now we're a a hole for someone else's mistake. We cant even get oil until the balance is paid off and this weekend is going to be single digits. Do not recommend.

We love this family owned and operated business. They are prompt with their deliveries and we never have to worry about running out of propane. Payments are made easy and their prices are great! I highly recommend using this company.
