“Located a short drive from historic Fort Ritchie in Highland Cascade, Maryland, the site of MITC (Military Intelligence Training Center) or Camp Ritchie as most people are familiar with. 20,000+ Ritchie Boys attended the Camp, many of which served overseas in Army intelligence securing 60% of all actionable intelligence during WWII. Come visit, stay at the Cobblestone Inn, explore the Fort Ritchie grounds and visit the Ritchie History Museum.”

“The management at this location are GREAT... I've stayed at this location twice and I will always stop here when im traveling through. Very clean, very quite, close to food, everything you need is hear. Ownership/Management really go out of the way to keep this location safe and pet friendly. This location is in my top 3 location to stay at from the West coast to the East coast. 200 nights a year I stay in hotels so for me that says alot about this location. Thank you to the Ownership/Management for your hospitality. See you next trip through.”

“Bathrooms don't have fans. Not sure why hotels don't have them. The "gym" was a single treadmill and a 4-in-1 machine. The pool was closed for maintenance. The front entrance door had a massive leak when it rained. Breakfast was alright. It was mostly just carbs, juice, and yogurt. That said though, I do love waffles, so that was nice. The staff was friendly, which is important to me. They're the only reason it's getting 4 stars.”

“The room had a few minor bathroom problems the pressure for the sink could be better and the turn style for the shower was functional. However the new staff we're friendly and since it's changed hands ran smoothly. Very quiet. We will stay again and recommend. Pet friendly my little dog had no problems.”

“I am a PhD educated professional and I enjoyed my stay. The price is good and the location is great. The staff is courteous and competent. It was very clean. The guests I encountered were nice people who minded their own business (No entitled “Karen’s”). My room was nice quiet and clean with a nice new floor. I had an awesome city view. This is the best hotel in Hagerstown in my opinion

Safety: Very safe, and you won’t be harrassed

Walkability: Excellent access to the sidewalks and the cuty center

Food and drinks: Many nearby places to eat”
