They put a lien on my car that I paid for in cash, not even sure how they did that. Now they won’t stop calling me after I have requested 10 times for them to stop calling me.

Sold me a car with 3 different oil leaks. Found out not too long after getting the car and it’s just been a disaster over and over. Only 7 months into having the car.

This place is a joke. Horrible customer service, and I won't be returning. I worked today and made an appointment for 6:30PM tonight to see a specific vehicle. It was an hour from my house, and the dealership even texted me about an hour before asking if I was on my way, and I said I was leaving to come there. I arrived and immediately there was someone waiting there like a vulture before I even got out of my car. I said I had an appointment with Mitch and they seemed to have no idea who that was saying maybe it was someone in marketing. I saw the vehicle I was planning to see parked right outside the front door, assuming it was ready for me. My husband and I went inside and they sat us down at a desk with one of the workers. A few minutes later, the manager, Brandon, came out and introduced himself and let me and my husband know that the Rav4 we had just come in to see was pending sale with someone else who was there doing the paperwork right now and they "just came in a half hour ago." I was told I couldn't test drive the vehicle since someone else was in the process of the paperwork for it, but I could outside and "look" at it in case the deal fell through. What's the point of that? I said I just drove an hour to get there and how frustrating that was that my time was wasted and Brandon said "Nothing was going to stop you from coming anyway." Um, yes it would! If you guys can text me an hour before to make sure I'm coming, surely you could call when I was halfway there and say you're selling it to someone else, but no, I know they wanted to get me there to try to sell me something else! Despite the Rav4 I wanted already being in process with the paperwork with someone else, they still wanted to take my current vehicle info to check about the trade-in, etc. No! I got up and left! Don't waste my time like that! Then halfway into my drive home, I received a phone call, voicemail, and 4 text messages from the dealership stating sorry that the vehicle wasn't available, then that the vehicle was not purchased tonight and asking me to come back, another text asking if I wanted to make an appointment for 2:00PM tomorrow, and finally saying "The people who were looking at the car might come back tomorrow to look at it," and asking again if I would like to make an appointment. What is the point of making an appointment if they'll just sell it to whoever comes in first? No, I'm not coming back! It's not like I made an appointment several days out and then it sold beforehand. I'm not going to play games with this place. I should have known to avoid Buchanan after my husband had a bad experience looking at trucks there a few years back when he said a sales manager told him "You'd agree we have the best prices" and "You think you can't afford it?" when my husband simply wasn't interested in the truck he saw there. Shady, shady, shady! The Rav4s are popular and hard to come by on deals. This was the first one on my listed of ones I was interested in that I was going to see, and they could have made a sale, however, I will take my business elsewhere!
Several days later and this specific Rav4 is still on their website unsold. I'm now convinced that it "already being in process with the paperwork" and then magically not selling the night of my appointment was a really bad sales tactic where they thought they could get me by putting on the pressure to buy before someone else did. I don't think anyone else was there buying it or doing paperwork. In the past few days, I traveled 2 hours to a dealership that held the vehicle for me that I wanted to see (that I scheduled to see SEVERAL days in advance), weren't pushy, and I had a great experience with. Don't go to Buchanan, go elsewhere!

I will never go to this dealership ever again. I was in process of getting approved through the banks and they sold the vehicle out from under me. Every time I called to ask they would say " I'm waiting on the bank". No they weren't they were waiting on the other party to finish their deal. Bad communication throughout and a horrible dealership to deal with.

Told myself I would never come back after my last experience 10-11 yrs ago. But here I am. Staff is MUCH improved including the sales Managers and Santiago the salesman. Thanks y’all.

Talked to a guy through email who insisted I come visit I even said I can’t put any money down. He said he would get me approved. Nope 45 minute wasted trip and fuel. Needed 10 thousand down on a dumb compass. No ty. Atleast the sales guy was pretty cool. What’s so funny I actually bought a new car a month later with 0 down. You guys tried to get me for ten thousand dollars. What a joke this place is.

'Thank you' to Nicole and her team in the service department for their assistance with my Jeep. They were prompt, understanding, and compassionate in resolving a challenging situation with my vehicle. Buchanan Automotive has earned a new customer through this experience and I look forward to doing business with them in the future. To say we are happy campers is an understatement!

If you want to be harassed via phone call AND text 2-3 years after purchasing a vehicle for trade in, even after you tell them to stop contacting you, then buy a car here!
