I'm a West Chester transplant to this PO. Stopped by at lunch on a Tuesday. The location is reasonably convenient to the highway. There was no line and the two women working the counter both seemed friendly. The one who helped me was friendly and helpful. I had to do a written form to put a hold on my mail due to the situation (super not thrilled about that) but overall my positive experience was the opposite recent reviews. Heard it might be 10 months til Airport Rd is reopened. :-(

I was told that since the fire at the West Chester post office that my mail would be handled at this location. I have visited this location three times now and have recieved contradictory information each time. This is completely unacceptable. I own a small business and rely on this location to recieve our accounts recievable. I need answers now!

Not only do they not pick up their phone, their voicemail box is full. This isn’t a mistake, because when I was told to call their location by my local post office, I was *told* their voice mailbox was full, so it’s just a thing they do to avoid communicating with customers. Now I have to drive to them during my work day to ask why I am missing two weeks of mail that was supposed to be delivered at the end of my hold last week.
Edit: there are TWO people working at this office on a Monday morning. It is a central office. They’re doing their best and were super helpful but this is shameful. The postal service is underfunded to the point that it’s impossible for workers who are doing their best to keep up.

Absolutely terrible. Stopped by yesterday at 6:05 (website says they are open until 7) and the woman at the counter (with an attitude!) said “they’re closed.” I told her that my item is time sensitive, and your website mentions a 7pm closing time. Her response- “Well, I don’t care what that says! You should have been here earlier.” Sorry that I was at work all day. I’ll make sure to never come here again.

I like to bring the ladies at the counter cookies every once in a while to show my appreciation for them! There has been many changes lately, in regards to new faces but I love that the hospitality continues to stay.

Used to be the most efficient and well-run postal facility in Pennsylvania. Not any more. Probably related to the extremist DeJoy and his intention to destroy the postal service. Ordered a prescription through my health insurance company on Feb 26. It was shipped on Feb 27. It arrived at SE PA facility 1 mile from my home late night Feb 29-Mar 1 (3:20am). Then was sent to New Jersey for some reason. Then was sent to Delaware. Then was sent to Philadelphia. It still has not arrived at my home on March 7 at 5:00pm.

I went here today after going to four other post offices in the west Chester/Malvern area... I was cashing a postal money order & luckily this was finally the one who had enough money to cash it. It's wasn't a huge amount either so I don't understand why the others wouldn't have had it. The woman who was as the desk was super nice & personable also. Thank you for turning around my day!

This has been my local post office for 3 decades. The people who work here are great. Only thing, Yelp, the counter is not open until 7. It closes at 6 PM. Please update your information.

So horrible!!! I stood there for 2 hours and the supervisor didnt come out to me. I just lost my parcel and the other location told me it was here. they didnt even take my trackingnumbers

I rather drive an extra mile to go to other location. The Asia senior guy and the young lady African American employees are extra rude, I’m not even taking about rush hours. Fist, the old guy will assume what ever he wants by what he sees before I open my mount with a question, will not listed but talk over. Once, he scanned and charged me two different stamp books and gave me only one. I usually get one regular and one for collection, this time he kept the regular flagged, I turned back immediately, barely made it to the door and back but he wouldn’t even check the drawer where he put the stamp book back but denied and I was still holding the receipt on my hand. It’s all in video (assuming the cameras are working). By the other hand, the lady will pretend of doing work, walk back and forward or just stand there with nothing on her hands while people is waiting on line, also repeatedly push customers (usually elderly) to pay for other services they have not requested, knowing they have said they don’t want that service or they have not use that device, without given any explanation. I saw that more than twice.Bad customer service in general.If it was for me I would give them zero star.
