This place was amazing. My car started shaking and the check engine light came on as I was driving by. When I called them and told them I wasn't from the area, they told me to stop by and they could do a quick scan to see if it was safe to drive. After the scan they said it would be a relatively quick to fix. They fixed my car in a few hours and on last minute notice. 10/10.

I needed a place within walking distance to my office to fix my tire. They squeezed me in same day, had it done within a couple of hours and didn't seem to mind that I brought my dog in with me. Couldn't be happier!

As long as these guys are in business they’ll be my mechanic. I drive cheap old cars that are always falling apart and they’ve managed to keep them on the road for me. Brian is great and takes the extra time to actually explain the problems. Being a single girl I feel like so many mechanics try to take advantage of me but I truly believe Brian is super honest and doesn’t try to get you to spend any unnecessary money. They can be busy but he still always manages to get things done in a timely fashion

Lament taught me almost everything I know as a mechanic. Thanks to him I have had a very successful career. I was very close to giving up fixing cars when I started working there. I have met some really terrible mechanics in my 19 years as a tech, and as a service manager. Lament is top notch! If I lived in Wayne I would bring my car here. Brian was an excellent mechanic years ago and I imagine he has only become the best. Definitely trust these guys with your car! They are honest and just good human beings!!

I stopped using this mechanic because they release customer information to 3rd parties. They use Mitchell service/software (inputting all your info including name, address and the car identifiers), a third-party that is not constrained as to how they can redistribute your information, which they do -- to multiple other third-parties; as a proof, you will get contacted by many of them in connection with your Lament repairs.Who wants a stranger go to your address to watch your wife and kids while you are at work?

Lament’s Auto is the best of the Main Line in auto repair. Jim, Brian, and their whole team go above and beyond. They explain necessary repair work at your level of understanding, they’re reasonably priced, very communicative, and readily available. And if it comes down to moving on from your current vehicle, they might even be able to help you meet up with another customer to do so.Services: Oil change

Last week I had a 300 mile drive from Vermont to Radnor to drop my daughter at school. Throughout that drive my car had warning lights and my steering wheel started to vibrate a lot and my car was making strange noises. I called Laments one evening at closing time and they graciously told me to bring my car by first thing the next morning. I headed over the following morning and the owner took about 45 minutes to drive my car, diagnosed the problem and made the minor fix. He fit me in without an appointment and was so helpful!

Responsive, not too rushed, but they're pretty on-time. I've used them for older VWs, an Audi, and a Volvo too--so they're good with the euro brands. Straight shooters, and they give you options (eg: fix this now, or come back later, not urgent)
