Worst salon in the world‼️I went there for several years to have highlights put in my hair during that time.After awhile, my hair started breaking and getting very damaged.Mind you I had been getting my hair highlighted for at least 20-years prior at an out-of-state salon.I finally questioned why my hair was looking so bad, and I got my answer.They use a number 40-developer, not a 29-developer, which is what you should be using.They did this out of laziness to get me I and out quickly, because the process works twice as fast.Now I am faced with getting more than I would like hair cuts.BEWARE: DO NOT GO HERE ?????Services: Shampoo & conditioning

All of the “great” above comments apply. The service is efficient, the staff is relaxed & relaxing, the hair cuts/do’s are perfectly suited to my facial & body composition as well as my personal daily hair-care (next-to-nothing but a hand thru) AND the pay suits my pocketbook. I can’t ask for more perfection!!!

I went to this salon twice so far and each time I've been really happy with my experience. For starters I've lived in NYC prior to COVID for years and was going to a salon on 5th ave. I'm really particular about my haircuts and balayage. I have long medium brown hair and it needs to be cut a certain way so it frames my face and feels light throughout. I've seen Mike twice so far for a haircut, root touchup, toner and blow dry. I felt my experience was really great. He listened to what I wanted and I even shared feedback during my 2nd visit that he took into consideration. For these services I can highly recommend him and I'm happy I finally found someone I can trust nearby.Services: Hairstyling

This is the 1st place I tried after moving to the area and it's a definite win! Had a great experience! Very beautiful inside, the hair washing with Linda was like a spa experience and Ashley did an amazing job on my fine hair and really took her time and gave a great advise. A+++++

Michelle is the best. I leave with the perfect haircut every time. Also, her balayage skills are amazing. I’ve gotten a full balayage from her and also a touch up right before my wedding. So happy both times. She’s also the sweetest person ever. Go see Michelle!I had an appointment during the pandemic and the salon went to great measures to ensure everyone’s safety! Temperature taken, sanitizer everywhere, masks required, and spacers between washing stations.

Excellent salon. Ask for Wendy. Best haircut of my entire life. She is great because she actually listens to what you ask for as opposed to telling you what she's going to do. I also had color and she did a fabulous job. Easy to find and easy parking. This is like a high-end city salon in the suburbs. Great place.

I am so conscious about my hair. I have been waited for a year to grow my hair and I wanted to do very nice cut and color. After researching a lot I found John Andrews, I researched further more. Found out I wanted to go to Michelle but she is very busy, you have to book in advance. For me I wanted quick one so I just went with who was available. I did with Ginnelle and believe me, I am in love with my new haircut. Thanks @Ginnelle for amazing cut.

I want to preface this review by saying I've been a client at John Andrews Salon for over 10 years (had fabulous haircuts in high school, even had my prom hair done there but then took breaks due to college and living in NYC for a while). Then and now, the staff is always friendly, attentive, and professional. One day during quarantine, I stumbled across the John Andrews Salon Instagram page and as I scrolled through, I fell in love with the posts of stylist Michelle Daly's hair transformations. I clicked her profile and within a minute I was direct messaging her to set up an appointment. She is, deservedly so, in high demand so I booked her next open spot (a month later). And let. Me. Tell. You. The wait was worth it!! She took my raggedy grown out balayage and gave me the blonde bombshell highlights I had dreamed of. If you've ever gotten highlights, you know the process takes hours. Michelle was great and kept me informed of every step along the way (how much longer the dye needed, when/why she was adding toner, what products she used during my blowout, etc.) Unfortunately I forget Michelle's assistant's name but she was also amazing. Looking forward to my next appt! COVID safety note: upon arrival, clients waited outside until their name was called. Once inside, temperatures are taken. Every other salon chair was used and hair wash stations were separated by plexi glass.

My wife is very happy with her experiences there and her service. The front end is a bit clunky with scheduling however they have always made up for any errors so far and luckily the scheduling has never affected the level of service she’s received with her hair. I’d give them 5 stars if we hadn’t had the number of scheduling problems encountered to date.

Very disappointed by my recent visit after being a client for a little more than a year and seeing the same stylist the entire time. My original 5-star review was for a bayalage I had done, but at some point they started billing me for partial highlights instead, which I think is the reason I left the salon two weeks ago miserable with highlights only on the top layer of my head, not at all the way I've requested and had in the past nor the color of the highlights in the photo I showed the stylist (which was a photo she took of ME last year!). I requested extra toner to get it closer to what I showed her in a photo, but it's still localized to an area of my head that's 100% not the look I requested, showed her in a photo, and had gotten done before. Miscommunication happens, but I would expect a stylist to keep better notes on what a client has previously had done and continue to inquire about and meet the client's needs. Plus I find out the price is nothing as advertised on the website, which I was told is "out of date." Because it was more than I expected, I called to check the breakdown and turns out they charge extra for toner. I don't know if that's the toner I requested or if hidden costs like that are standard industry practice. All in all, I still say great customer service, ambiance, and friendly stylist. I enjoy coming to the salon, but have found a new stylist at another salon because I can't justify spending the money again not knowing what I'll get and not having a stylist know my hair and preferences better after several visits.

Today I stopped in for a haircut and style with Adrianna. This was my first time here and I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment. I waited approximately ten minutes. The front desk receptionist kept me informed by letting me know Adrianna was running a few minutes behind. She was very friendly and nice. The girl who shampooed my hair was not very enthusiastic and barely rubbed my scalp at all, so I was beginning to think that maybe this wasn't going to be a great experience. But then I met Adrianna and she seemed very friendly and warm. We chatted for a bit about what I was looking for and I took her advice and did not chop my hair off as short as I was originally going to do. She did a great job on my haircut and style. I would definitely come back again. I also like that they had parking directly in front of the salon. Super convenient.

I was a walk in, did not wait too long. The staff was very friendly. I was very happy with my haircut and the price. I will definitely go back.

Possibly most underrated salon on the Main Line, the stylists here are all great. Ashley does an incredible job with my fast growing, frizzy hair every time. Very well run Salon!
