Chanticleer is, by far, my favorite local garden. No matter what month, it’s always beautiful and feels magical. Love the little rambling pathways, the ruins of the old house and stone water table, and the many tucked away chairs to rest in.

Chanticleer is a lovely garden and April is my favorite month to visit. Thank you to the gracious staff and make sure you reserve a parking spot ticket online ahead of your trip. I love going to the nearby Whole Foods when I visit the garden.

A lovely, well curated garden in Wayne, PA. Parking reservation is free, however, required for weekends up till 3 PM (then parking space is first come first serve). Lots of picnic areas, bathrooms, and water bottle stations. We spent about 2 h here after lunch in downtown Wayne.
Chanticleer will be open, March 27 through November 3, 2024, Wednesday through Sunday. Parking reservations will be available starting March 1. Visit our website to learn more about the garden.
Within 30 minutes of Philadelphia, Chanticleer is one of the great gardens of the region.
