The vet who treated my cat wouldn't listen to me and kept saying he needed surgery that would cost $10,000 and then told me it would be best to put him down. I brought my cat home the next day he was back to normal. 2 day later I too him to the normal vets after they checked him out and looked at the X-rays that the previous vet did, they saw it was GAS BUBBLES!!!! That vet charged me over $800 and was PUSHING me to put my cat down for gas bubbles. I will NEVER again go back to that place. That guy does not care for the animals he clearly only cares about the money. The comment he made to my mother and I proved that's all he cared about. I kept the paper so I can remember his name to. If I could fight the payment from that charge I definitely would because I DO NOT feel they deserve it.

I brought our two 5 month puppies here and the team was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Prior to bringing our girls, we had a 17 year old pupper who was really struggling towards the end. The team here was able to get an answer for her illness and get her stable enough to transport her for longer term care. Since that visit we were able to get 8 extra months with our girl. She will be forever missed but thank you to the staff for helping us when we needed you the most.

If I could give this God awful place zero stars I would. Went there with my cat which was what I believe as a seizure. Head bobbing, no control of bowel movement and barely breathing. It wasn't an emergency to them. She might not even make it through the night. And their 2 front desk were really ignorant. Be aware of this! They don't care about you or your animals. She died less than 12 hours later at only 8 months old. So yeah your triage sucks.

I arrived at 9pm on a holiday with my sick cat and was seen fairly quickly. Dr Meyerhoff was caring and thorough. He made me feel confident in the decisions we were making for my cat. A few days later and my cat is almost 100% again after the medicine and fluids he administered.

If your going to make people wait 5 hours to see the doctor you could at least have some comfortable furniture.

This place is so kind to fur babies! They are super responsive and they gave amazing care to my Panda Girl! I will always recommend this place for an after hours go to!! Thank you so much for taking such care of my baby and getting her healthy to come home when her vet was not open and able to care for her.

We were very grateful and thankful for the care you gave our 9 year old boxer Chloe on Christmas evening. 1st and most importantly, you were open, which was a blessing. 2nd, all the employees were so compassionate. Chloe also says thank you.

Took my dog here on a Sunday evening after another dog bit him and it wouldn't stop bleeding. When we called, the receptionist communicated to us that they were in surgery and told us the best time to swing by. Even though we had to wait a little while until it was time to leave, once we arrived the doctors and staff were efficient and clearly communicated what their recommendations were. We were out quickly, and have followed up with our primary vet, and everything is healing well. Would return and recommend. Thank you for helping our dog after a long Sunday!

I cannot thank the vet and staff enough for helping my cat. They were attentive, explained to me exactly what was going on, and kept in contact with me through the night while they kept my cat overnight and after our visit.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Called on a Sunday afternoon about acute drainage/bleeding from a surgical wound in our dog and was told 3-4 hour wait which only starts when you physically check in with your sick pet. There is no virtual waitlist. After spending 4 hours in the car in the parking lot, we get the call to come in to "get vitals" and then roomed when one opens up. After 10-15 min, we get the dog back and are told vitals are normal and we should be roomed next. 1 hour goes by standing in the waiting area after which we get brought into a room and are told our dog will be taken back to see the doctor "in a few minutes." 2 HOURS later we still are waiting in the room with our antsy, dehydrated, and hungry, sick dog. When we go out to ask the staff if we were forgotten, the story is there were "a couple criticals" that were being treated and so we are next. No one relayed this information to us over the 6 hours we spent waiting to be seen. THEN, a tech comes back and informs us "shift change" is occurring so the doctors are signing out the patients. We came at 2PM and were told this at 730PM. FINALLY, they come back to take our dog to see the doctor (whom you never actually see). When they bring him back to us, they say he has a small opening in his incision with some drainage and possibly and infection. BUT, they don't want to prescribe any antibiotics or NSAIDs until they run $300 worth of lab work. When we decline the blood test and just ask for the medications, they refuse because "the doctor doesn't feel comfortable." All of this is relayed through a middleman, not an actual conversation with the doctor.THE FINAL KICKER: when I step out to the car to get payment, a new tech comes in the room to get our dog's temperature which he reports is normal-high. Isn't temperature a basic vital sign? Which they said they took when we got brought in from our car 3 hours earlier?!?! They recommended we place cold compress on the surgical site and send us on our way after $180 bill and 6.5 hours of my life wasted. NEVER AGAIN.Our normal vet the very next day prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatories without any lab work.

This is my second experience requiring emergency care. First time was 5 star. If I could check more stars this time around I absolutely would! My dog was admitted on thanksgiving day. He stayed the night, transferred to his regular vet where he ended up requiring abdominal surgery. He then returned for postoperative monitoring and care. I can’t say enough about the doctors and the hands on care provided. I received constant updates, photos all the while. My pet has been discharged and the staff is still following up with me directly. Special thanks to Jenn and most especially Heather who handled most of my communications. She went above and beyond to make me feel he was safe.

My new kitten was having some pretty severe issues that persisted after getting some treatment from my primary vet, so I brought him here. We were seen quickly and they were so thorough! My kitten has now improved so much, and I'm very thankful for the care and attention he received here. They even took the most adorable picture of him and texted me later to check in on him! Of course, it's a bit pricey as most ER vets are, but the level of care made the bill sting less!

They were wonderful to my Oakley boy! Yes, you can expect a wait on a Saturday afternoon; but once he was seen the technicians and veterinarian took wonderful care of my puppy. Thank you for your care, and tenderness from the bottom of my heart! Oakley is doing great!!

My sweet kitty had a really bad infection with a wound on her neck that I couldn't see until she scratched it open and that same night they were able to get her in and give me an estimate I approved it and they cleaned her up and gave her some medicine and she healed wonderfully. I absolutely love the staff for their attentiveness and kindness ❤️
