Staff are always friendly and get me in and out pretty quick considering they only have one counter employee.

Getting in contact with anyone at the Waterford Postal Service is almost impossible. I send my mail through a different post office in a neighboring city when I need to send anything out. My mail is almost always soaking wet in my mailbox when it is snowing/raining. I am still receiving mail for people that lived in my apartment 5 years ago despite consistently returning it. It is so frustrating and I wish there were a more reliable customer service to speak with.

Growing up in Waterford my family’s mail carrier, Jay was fantastic. Always friendly and reliable. Now I have a place of my own but have learned, sadly, that Jay was the exception, not the rule. The current carriers and staff are, to put it simply … unmotivated. The lady at the desk, Laurie (or Lori, not sure how it’s spelled and I’m sure she’d say she doesn’t either) is condescending and useless. Can’t answer any questions or offer any information. Packages get marked as delivered, yet are nowhere to be found. No less than weekly are my neighbors and I exchanging mail that has been delivered to the wrong home. Quite simply, diligence is unheard of around that office. Customer care is nonexistent. Honestly, if you’re moving into an area serviced by this comedy show, I’d encourage you to get a PO Box in Erie or the nearest neighboring town. I wouldn’t even go in this location to buy stamps.

What a joke this place is. Good luck trying to get ahold of the “post master” and if you do, expect at least a two week wait to get back to you. Not helpful at all but that’s government employees for you.

I’ve been going to this post office daily to ship items my wife sells and I’m treated good. After reading some of the reviews I agree that one person is not enough at times especially around the holidays. They could do more in the support category and do better at delivering.

If you are moving to the area and this will be your post office, you should reconsider, or at least be aware: The mail I get is accurate less than half the time when delivered from this location. My mail is often delivered to other addresses, and I receive mail from two or three other houses. Packages are often held at the post office instead of delivered and no reason is provided when I've asked (literally: a shrug and a "I'm not sure.") Mail with tracking numbers are inaccurate as they'll scan the package as delivered and hold it for a couple days. This makes receiving time sensitive mail very stressful. The local line nearly always go unanswered so the only way you can get issues resolved is to find the time to drive down there. I'm sure part of the reason is understaffing in a booming housing area... but that's just a guess as there's no transparency or dialogue with the staff. Disappointing.

The delivery woman that works here does a fantastic job, constantly sacrificing her personal life to stay late and deliver well over 200 packages every single day so that her costumers do not need to be bothered with the task of leaving there home to purchase there items all on there own.. Even after hearing negative review's and complaints from ignorant people that have zero appreciation or respect for all the hard work that she does to make there life easier, she continues to put a smile on and do the absolute best that she can. Thank you so much!!

The people who are actually working in the post office are always welcoming and helpful. Our delivery person is lacking though. She will occasionally decide to just skip out entire neighborhood or put the letters in the box but can't be bothered with getting out of her vehicle to deliver a package. To be fair I could almost understand if we had a long driveway and the weather was terrible, But it's flat and only two car lengths long. Our entire neighborhood is routinely redistributing packages to the proper homes. Perhaps we could just have a normal person walking around...

As others have said, they WILL NOT drop off any packages. I've ordered many things from amazon and any time they get sent USPS they always get returned to the sender because the lazy delivery drivers DO NOT drop any packages at your house. My door is right off a main road, and fedex and UPS has no problems delivering. Very frustrating that often times I have to select a more expensive delivery option or go to the post office simply to get my packages that I am paying for delivery to my house. Would rate 0 stars if I could.

Ladies are extremely rude and clueless about logistics. Why would you put the package on the delivery truck if your not going to attempt to deliver the package to my house. You guys make no sense at all. This wasn’t the first or fifth time and I know this won’t be the last. Use some common sense! Mercia

They could care less about doing their job correctly, they are extremely lazy. Never deliver my packages like they're supposed to, at least 15 to 20 packages now in the last few months, it is always a different excuse. You guys are a joke.
