Love that I can find so many locally produced products (including Sarris Chocolates) here. Everything you need, lots of good organic and plant based products and really nice people working there to help when needed.
There is a Tesla Supercharger adjacent to the property towards the back end of the parking lot…a great bonus!

The store was clean. A Giant Eagle card is required for self checkout which was very annoying. I had to wait in a line to purchase my two items. Prices are high. I'd probably find another store to shop at if I lived in the area.

Very nice and clean. We enjoy sitting while drinking a cup of coffee at the Cafe area.

Don’t come here and try to buy groceries if you’re young and black. They will watch you and act like you’re stealing. Older black woman manager came out and said that my orange juice didn’t weigh… I never knew you had to weigh orange juice but whatever I guess. Very nasty people, no one was there to help in the self checkout until we started scanning our items. First time shopping at this location and it will be the last. Mind you, I also work in the giant eagle organization. 0/5 if I could give that.

This may be a nice enough grocery store. But the restrooms smell like a zoo.

This store chain leaves a lot to be desired regardless of location. Their self checkout system is outdated, the variety of food options is lackluster, and the employees don't seem happy. If you can avoid it, you should.

This store has disappointed us over and over and over again. We shop here out of convenience because it's so close to our house. But this last experience is the last straw. Now, the pharmacy can't even follow PA law. We're done. My husband has a prescription for an injectable drug, which means he cannot take it if he doesn't have syringes. It's frustrating enough that he has to buy the syringes, and they don't come with the medication as its only possible delivery method. But this last time he refilled his prescription, he was informed they could not sell him syringes without a prescription. So he could buy the drug; he just couldn't use it. This precedent does not follow Pennsylvania law. Board Regulation Section 27.18(s) states: "Sales of hypodermic needles and syringes shall be made by a pharmacist or under the direct, immediate and personal supervision of a pharmacist in accordance with the following: (1) Hypodermic needles and syringes may be sold without a prescription. (2) Hypodermic needles and syringes shall be kept in the prescription area of the pharmacy, as defined in § 27.1 (relating to definitions), and be accessible only by pharmacists and pharmacy personnel authorized to be in the prescription area of the pharmacy while the pharmacy is open."

We do a lot of curbside pickup and delivery for our groceries, but there are a few things we prefer to pick out ourselves. The feature of Giant Eagle that I like the most is their Scan Pay Go self scan and checkout system. It is so easy. You scan your card to get a scanner, you scan your items as you shop, put them into your bag, and at the end you go to the dedicated checkout kiosk and scan the barcode. You then pay for your groceries, get your receipt, and walk out to your car. I'm surprised so many people prefer to stand in line at the traditional cashier lines. It saves so much time! Having a dedicated scanner instead of using an app on your phone is easier to handle and you don't need to worry about dropping it. I'm definitely a fan.

I sent multiple emails and surveys to giant eagle customer service. They did not care to respond. Giant eagle has always had this problem and it’s something I’ve dealt with in the past. They are greedy and only care about corporate cash. Most important thing in business is to treat your customers like gold.
