Lady helping me was very nice and made a strong effort to provide travel guides. The problem is, since the pandemic, all guides are digital, which translates to mega files downloaded, searched, and printed out, which doesn't work for me. It puts the cost squarely on the customers' shoulders. It was so helpful in the past to have guidebooks so you could mark them up and study them. No doubt they are saving significantly, but funny how I never see any savings on my membership. Just the opposite...

Understaffed and those who are there don't know what they are doing. Four trips to get a plate for a trailer. Each time told I need something else. Twice they were dead wrong. Have the nerve to say I got mad and left. Damn right. All those trips 24 miles each time to get incorrect requirements. Last thing I was told I needed was true for a TRACTOR TRAILER not for a trailer being pulled by a car. Blame "changing rules " when the truth is they do not know what they are doing. Never again this AAA. Ladies who used to be there were great. No mistakes ever. Like so many businesses now... Lack of knowledge and plenty of blame shifting costing the customer time, money and headaches. AVOID THIS LOCATION!

I have been a AAA member for more than 40 years and will continue due to the peace of mind of emergency assistance services.However, visiting AAA's offices for in person services has always been hit or miss. With sometimes surly employees and often long waiting times, I avoid going there unless it's absolutely necessary.Yesterday, I was excited to see an empty parking lot and no other customers in line at AAA Washington PA. Unfortunately, this turned to "more of the same old thing" as one employee was on the phone with a customer, and the other ignored me for 10 minutes after initially saying " I'll be with you momentarily ". When I asked her how long my wait would be, she took it as a personal attack, telling me in a loud voice that I was the third person who "yelled at" her that morning.Finally, the other employee got off the phone and provided me with thorough, helpful service.I think AAA needs to beef up their customer service training.
