Service Excellence today from the kind woman behind the counter. She found the information I needed to track a package that left USPS for another vendor and offered a contact name and number for Pintney Bowes Parcel Returns.(I also appreciate the small but nice selection of Hallmark cards here:)

You know when you can hear the smile in someone’s voice? Well whoever answers the phone does not have that. Has actually been fairly rude. I get it, I don’t wanna work all the time either but I don’t take that out on customers. Can’t hurt to be nice

This post office is suffering from not having an assigned manager The usual clerk is very moody, often short with customers, occasionally downright rude. Have just started closing for an hour at lunch. During the break, even the outside lobby is closed, so boxes are on lockdown.
