I am giving one star because a former employee, Ron, was honest and sincere. He is no longer at the service station. I do not recommend Bobs auto repair to anyone, they recently lied, said That i needed all new brakes. I took it to another shop for a second opinion and the brake measurements are safe / fine and passed inspection. Bobs also failed to oil one of the pins on our Ford F150 when they replaced the brakes. This made one side of the rear brake wear out entirely in under 3000 miles and led to needing a full set of brakes!! Bobs knew the right thing to do- they did it on one side. This business tried to do repairs on my car that I did not need, and they did faulty repairs causing hundreds of dollars of unnecessary spending on our truck. We took both vehicles about 2 miles away, to Monro on York Road and their team was AWESOME, honest and reasonable.

$216 to change 4 tires while it cost me $80 even at Lemeks in Hatboro for a different vehicle. Way overpriced. Wish I got an estimate beforehand, but since I used him before, I thought nothing of it. Plus I had an issue, that was ultimately never fixed. I showed him what was coming up on my obd reader, he looked into it and "fixed" it, but never did. Never going to be back here.

Ron is a stand up guy who does very solid work. He fixed a coolant leak for me and when i returned with the same problem he sorted it out for me at no extra charge. I plan on bringing my car here for all my future maintenance needs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My son got his inspection and oil change here and they are efficient, thorough and all in a timely manner. With great prices also. My son was very happy and that makes me very happy too.

Ron actually runs this place now. He's a NASCAR guy with Mercedes and Volvo experience too. Fair, honest, hard- working. I usually have four older cars. This is my first choice for inspections, oil changes, brakes, etc.

Took my son’s car here for state inspection. The kid drives the car multiple hours back n forth from school. No complaints or issues w the car ever. Well this place claimed he needed brake pads, rotors and some type of cylinder replaced the entire thing totaling $1400. I’m so glad I was with my son because we immediately decided we would not pay and get a second opinion. Which we did. The new mechanic, without us mentioning anything states the car only needs brake pads to pass the inspection!! Wow. I guess it’s safe to assume that Bob’s stays open because of the lies and false diagnosis???? What a horrible person he must be, to steal that type of money from people, especially at a time like this. I’m so glad I outsmarted him!!! STAY AWAY. GO ELSEWHERE. There are actual mechanics out there that are sincere.
