I got hacked by this compnay , 3 days before christmas and you can not contact anyone by phone , there is charges made to bank account from purchases , no order number nothing i havnt bought anything since december 9 and that order is complete , this also put me in negative balance

Aurora Mall rue21 in Aurora, ColoradoIt was 7:23PM. One Monday, May 29th. I have been here before, but never had I received this kind of service. It was my son's first time shopping at rue21. My son needed to try on two shirts that he was interested in. Lizette was the manager on duty. (I did not know that at the time). I had approached her for a fitting room for my son, and she said they were closed because they were getting ready to close at 8:00 PM. I begged her, if please could my son use the fitting room it's only two shirts?. Lizette response was "No, sorry, but I can't." I asked her if I purchased the two shirts, can I return them she said "yes." The other team member who was working. Beau was very helpful. The team member even made jokes ( "Would you buy me a shirt too? ") my response was only if you would let my son use the fitting room, Beau said,"Lizette is my boss. " I went on with my purchase that I made at 7:28 PM. My son and I went to the bathroom outside of the store. After my son tried on the two shirts on, he ended up not liking the fitting. We came back to return the two shirts at 7:40 PM the same day. Not only that, the entire team was just standing around. We would've been done sooner and in less time if we could've only used the fitting room inside the store.Sincerely,Lorena and an owner

Hello, I ordered an item totaling $22.14 on October 16th around 7am. I never received an order confirmation email, saying that my order was received or approved. But my bank *********** app) says the transaction went through with Rue 21 and that it is still pending, so there IS proof that I ordered it, but no email confirmation proof. What is going on & what do i do?

I took my son to get clothes to start school tomorrow. I only had so much left on my credit card to use. I purchased the items and they didn't take my coupon off (which would save me 40 dollars) so I brought it to their attention. They said they would have to return the items and re scan them in as a new transaction. So they refunded everything and while I waited for 5 minutes for the guy to get done having a conversation with a friend he proceeded to check me out again. I asked if the money would be on my card right now and he said no it would take 1 to 3 business days. So then I asked how was I going to purchase the items now. They said...ohhh sorry... Needless to say my son gets to start school with no new school clothes cause they took my money and held it. They also kept my coupon when I left. I basically went in and got robbed for my money. If I owed them I would have to pay intrest or if I took their money I would go to jail. How is this right or legal???

If I could give less stars I would. This company has no desire to help when their customer has experienced fraudulent activity on their account. They claim their site is safe for customers to shop at when it isn't. Which I understand each time you order online their is that chance of getting hacked. Back in July 2020 my account was hacked and the person who hacked my account spend $113.84. They used my name and mailed their items to FL. I live in NC... This should have been a red flag on Rue 21s end that the mailing address was different from the billing but it was processed anyway. I filed a complaint and reported fraudulent activity to both Rue 21 and my bank. With my bank I had to file a fraudulent report and mail it back in. Prior to that my last order was April 2019. I don't shop often but when I do I choose Rue 21 because their pants fit me the best. On Oct 19th 2020 I decided I needed to order me new pants and as always I go to my go to store which is Rue 21 (well was my go to store). I picked the items I wanted to order went to checkout and submitted my order. It was declined immediately do to me needing to update my payment method. I was so confused because the card I just had added is a new card I received in June 2020. Original card was canceled and new card was sent. When I called Rue 21 they told me I needed to contact my bank. When I did the bank told me there was no hold from this retailer. So I tried to submit an order again. Declined again. So I used a different bank card and again order was declined. So I called Rue 21 and person I spoke to said they would send a message to their support team which will email me back within two business days. Ok, I was fine with that until I didn't hear back. So I called again. Same thing they told me to contact my bank. When I told them that I already did a representative told me they would send a message to their support team. This time I did get an email back but it was in regards to online shopping problems. When I emailed back I never received a reply. So I called again and again they tell me I need to contact my bank. I tell them I have already and that everything is ok on their end. It has been three weeks and still Rue 21 has done nothing to resolve my account. I have called numerous times and even made a new account and still my account is blocked from making any purchases. I have also made an account under my husbands name and his bank card, email address, and my parents mailing address and it still declined. This is poor business to punish customers for fraudulent activity that we had no control over. This to me shows that Rue 21 has my phone number, address, name, last name, and everything else flagged due to the fraudulent activity. I have even tried submitting an order to pickup in store and it declined. At this time Rue 21 has lost my business as they obviously don't want it, I will not refer anyone to this business, I will make sure to tell people that want to shop here how they take care of their customers, and will encourage people to shop elsewhere to avoid from their accounts getting hacked and being punched by someone elses actions. This clearly shows Rue 21 doesn't care about their customers. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company over the past eight years both in store and online.

I bought a shirt from another location, and it was torn by the elbow quite a bit. I sew, but i shouldn't have to pay almost $20 for a torn shirt. Check your items from the line, before you sell them in the stores...

I ordered over $200 in clothing for my children online. When the package arrived I received 2 of the 7 items I ordered. Called customer service and was told they closed the investigation because they weighed the package and claim it weighed 8 pounds. There is no way 2 pants weigh 8 pounds. They scammed me out of my money and clothes for my children. Someone who works for Rue21 obviously stole my items and did not include them in my package. Customer service is useless and you can not get a hold of higher management. Nobody ever calls you or emails you back as they claim they would.

Yo, rue21 when are you guys going to pay me for my services? You owe me a check. I had previously performed hair/makeup services for 3 days the month of April, 2017. I have not received payment for those days, and was told multiple times that the company was “restructuring.†I get it, you filed for bankruptcy. Cool. Here's the thing, I worked for you for a three day photo shoot. I spent my time and money helping you. We had a verbal and written payment agreement. I have been given the run around continuously, so now, I'll make this public. I call and contact you once A YEAR since April 2017 asking for my payment for the work I did for you. This is not only awful business, but theft. Others have a right to be aware of this. I have proof of my call sheets and time worked for Rue 21's summer marketing photoshoot in 2017 and I will press charges if need be. Not paying those you hire is illegal. You also used the images I helped create in your 2017 spring marketing. Bad business.

So when are you guys going to pay me for my services? You owe me a check. I had previously performed hair/makeup services for 3 days the month of April, 2017 for Rue 21. I have not received payment for those days, and was told multiple times that the company was restructuring. I contact you once a year after the initial multiple times when this first occurred. I have all of the proof that I filed multiple claims with you. You stole my time. I used my products and traveled to you. PAY. WHO. YOU. HIRED.

Be Aware of the quality of the products from Rue21!! I ordered a maxi dress on their website on 8/6/18. I received it yesterday, put it on and loved the fit and style, but as I turned around, my mom saw a huge stain on the back butt area. It looks like a huge ink stain but it appears to be the color in the fabric must have bled. I was shocked something like that would be shipped out because it's like 2 inches long. Where is their Quality Control? I called customer service first thing this morning because I got the dress for my father in laws memorial this Saturday because now at this point, I don't have anything else to wear. I asked for them to send me another one overnight. I was told by a manager, Brandon M that they don't have any way to do that but to send him pictures of the dress and he will see if they will reimburse me the overnight shipping cost on the new dress. 10 min later, he emailed me back saying Corporate is willing to honor reimbursing me my overnight shipping. Okay, good that was acceptable, right? However, when ordering the new dress, I called Customer Service back to ask a quick question and got to talking about the next day delivery and found out that even though we pay the $25.95 for next day, their warehouse is "behind" so the processing is up to 2 days. What !? How is that good customer service? Yes, I was getting my shipping costs back, but to those ordering and paying $25.95 for overnight, know it's not really overnight shipping because if you order before 1:00 EST, the website says it will process same day you order so that would make you think that you should get delivery the next day "overnight". Nope apparently not. So, that even tells me the manager Brandon M 1, doesn't know issues going on at the warehouse to assist the customer better which is bad communication on Rue21's part or 2, he withheld that information from me when we talked this morning. Rue21 is a joke! I have sent several emails back to said Manager, Brandon M and no response. No surprise there.

My son made a purchase on 07.03.2018, updated his billing and shipping address and his package was still shipped to the incorrect address. We called Rue 21 to see if order can be cancelled and was advised that it cannot but I would have to call UPS in order to get the address changed. Rue 21 knew that they ship out packages via UPS Surepost and that the USPS completes the last leg of the delivery. I've contacted Rue 21 everyday and have been laughed at on the call, spoken to like I was an idiot by floor supervisors and finally was advised today that I should call back in 1-2 hours after a supervisor meeting. I did and I requested to speak with a manager who is over the floor supervisors only to be told that they weren't there. This company refuses to reship or refund my son his money. And to make matters worse, his package is lost somewhere in Illinois and we live in Arizona.

I have received no response from rue21 regarding an issue. Calling customer service was utterly useless. No wonder all its stores kicked the bucket. Don't shop at rue21 stores or online.
