“Cool Dog Gear - it’s kind of in the name. They have all sorts of toys, treats, collars, harnesses, etc. They also host training sessions, have obstacle courses setup in the back, and have other dog-centric events. Most importantly the staff and owner(s) are wonderful. I went in with my dog to purchase a new harness and they took the time to help me find exactly what fit, let me try it on the dog before purchasing, and in general were just very pleasant and helpful. It’s nice to be able to support a small local business rather than relying on the typical online retailers or larger chains - give Cool Dog Gear a visit.”
“I used the store in Southampton, PA. My dog got groomed there. The staff were very helpful. I didn't know we needed 3 hours, so I had to reschedule. But while I was there, they helped me get his Rabies information from his vet. Rachel did a GREAT job on my Bert. He looked so handsome! He is a puppy & needs someone to teach him that he will be OK. Rachel had a great deal of patience.”

“I don't write reviews very often but after my encounter the other day, I had to. I have a pit mix rescue and we are still learning his quirks. He was very nervous to get his nails trimmed but desperately needed to. When we got there, he planted all four paws on the ground and wouldn't move and then hid under chairs. I started to get flustered because I was not expecting this. If you're a dog person, you know your dog picks up on your energy so I know I was not helping matters. I was ready to cry. The two women who helped me were ANGELS. One got on the floor with him and cut and trimmed his nails. The other gently coaxed him out of his hiding spot. By the end of the visit my dog, Alfie, was in love with these two women. They were so unbelievably kind to me and my Alfie, I couldn't believe it. Please support this business. This is the kind of service that you don't come across as often anymore. I wish I would have brought a larger tip with me. Since I didn't, I had to at the very least, write this review. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for making this a great experience for me and my boy.”
“This pet store is great, has pet supplies for dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, birds and etc. They have a large selection of dog and cat food. The pet toy selection has many great affordable toys. Lots of nice fish tanks and fish food.”
“I took my dog to dog training to prepare for the CGC test. My dog has previous experience in dog training. Our trainer Lindsay is absolutely the best! We took the 6 week course to prepare for the test . She was very knowledgeable in the material. Her suggestions and corrections help out a lot. Her experience with all types of dogs is phenomenal. I would highly recommend the dog training at Petco and I would also recommend Lindsey as well she will exceed your expectations.”
“I took my Nellie ther for the first time , how enjoying it was too see animals smiling and wagging ther tails while having ther grooming the staff was very friendly the spa very well maintained ...But, to see the tails going weather cats or dogs was a complete pleasure unlike the place I was before P.S. which was ugly will say ..I would recommend this place for sure... “Great neighborhood pet supply store in our area. I will never go into a big box store again after finding dogs & cats 2 years ago. Their staff take their time with you if need suggestions or have questions. They helped me pick out a food for my dog with terrible sensitive skin & allergies and their food suggestions helped him and his skin immediately - it cleared with no problems since. Their homemade dog bakery selection is adorable, we buy a “cake” every birthday for our dog as well.”

“I adopted a dog at the beginning of the pandemic when things were pretty chaotic. The SPCA handled the transition about as well as anybody did during that time and we were able to schedule a visit to meet 2 potential dogs. Everything went smoothly and we took our new dog home that day (sadly, he just passed away after 4 wonderful years with us, as he was older when we adopted him).Edit: a few days ago I returned and had another wonderful experience with adopting again. I put in an application online and was called about a week later (I believe this is because the dog was on a stray hold, so I was called as soon as the hold expired). We had to wait to be able to take him home because he had to be neutered, but we were able to visit the dog a couple of times in between the time we adopted him and were able to take him home. Staff were pleasant and friendly every time.”
“This pet store is awesome, they have so much to choose from and for a wide variety of animals. The owner is also a really knowledgeable and kind guy. They support local businesses in the area by posting a bulletin board in the back of the store. He has supported my local pet business, The Doody Queens, tremendously. “We have been taking a large frisky puppy to Willow Grove's Petsmart for training. Lauara is the trainer. She is doing an excellent job of working with owners to train theiir dogs to want to follow commands and to pay attention to their person, initially for treats and eventually to just do what their person wants as its own reward. From my observation, the dogs seem more trainable than their people and it is very easy to spot those who work with their dog and those who don't. Laura is patient with everyone and has a very real understanding of what makes a dog tick. It was amazing to see the vast improvement in dogs and their owners in the beginers class. In the intermediate class where more is expected of the dogs and their owners, progress is a bit more spotty, but there is still progress. When Laura uses one of the dogs in the class to demonstrate a lesson, she ususally succeeds. She shows patience with the dogs and encourages their owners to work with the dog, to not get upset, to use and to think of treats as a reward for progress, not a bribe for cooperation, She encourages everyone to be positive and proud of their dogs. She recognizes that the owners are the key to training and tries to make it a positive expereince for them too.”

The first associate to help us was Will and I must say the service we were provided was beyond EXCEPTIONAL. It's nice to enter an establishment and be assisted without hesitancy and with kindness. “I am so thrilled that my neighbor recommended Lucky Dogz to me, when I adopted my rescue dog. Elizabeth and Paul are phenomenal dog people. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. Their staff is wonderful too -- my dog is safe and well looked after when I leave him here, and he is free within reasonable limits to explore and to socialize as much as he wants. This place is really excellent. The prices are reasonable, and I've even left him for overnight boarding, which is also well priced. I cannot believe our great fortune to have found lucky dogz!”
