Even though they were a little behind due to previous emergencies, they took the time to answer my questions in detail. the young woman who assisted the vet was absolutely fantastic in the way she handled Murphy and got him ready. Dr. Filchner was so professional and caring! She even took the time to remove a couple of hair mats that she noticed during her exam. The entire staff always was and still is top-notch in their field!! Thanks for a wonderful experience!”

Oliver just laid on his. Oliver LOVED Jess, who went Above and Beyond to make it a positive experience for him! Many thanks Jess!! Walbert Animal Hospital stayed open after their normal closing time of 12 noon on a Saturday as a courtesy to the shelter. However it should be noted it has not been all pleasant the experiences with some of the other staff, mostly concerning communication and transparency. “Integrity is doing right — even with no one around to witness it. This practice had a prime opportunity to perform work that wasn't necessary, as I had explicitly (and ignorantly) requested it! Instead, I was gently informed during the diagnostic phase that the full procedure would not be necessary after all, and ended up saving a ton of money. This is not typical of most of my experiences with vets and demonstrates a deeper respect for both the patient and patient's caretaker than I expected. Furthermore, Dr. Freeby managed to convey more empathy in a single 10-minute meeting than all of my previous vets combined over hours. Anecdotal, sure, but it was impactful to me, for what that's worth. Thank you to all of those who were involved with Pixel's appointment.”

“I take my puppy there since we got her at 3 months. Dr. Squire is so nice and thorough. We first went to her 2 yrs ago when we had to put our 14 year old Terri-poo down. She was very compassionate with me and treated our dog with dignity . Our puppy is 8 1/2 months old now and we take her to her nails, meds and shots. She doesn't do spay or neuter surgery anymore though. Her prices are reasonable and our puppy loves her.We got her from a rescue foster home.”

Dr Esser was fantastic and Dr Carter was able to remove the obstruction with tenacity. No surgery!! Kudos to the staff and doctors!! Jax is coming home. Guess what, not that treat again!!
