As always great people, great service and a great time at Ratvasky's. It's more like social hour than getting ones' car serviced. I really like and trust these people. I've been going there since 2007, this posting is 2024. No complaints yet.

Brought my car in for hood pins on a carbon fiber hood, with the end result leaving me wishing I hadn't. Get straight to the point, there were a number of scratches around where the hood pins where installed, more than likely because nothing was taped off like it should have been. The passenger side pin was not only facing the wrong direction, not allowing the pin to sit flush like the driver side pin, the clip was shoved it and clearly not sitting flush and digging into the plate causing an indent and paint missing from the plate. The same pin wasn't even tight, as was found out when the clip was pulled out, went to grab the pin and it falls off into the engine bay. ( the hole for the clip is slanted, so that it lays flat against the curve of the hood) Inspection of the hole that was drilled and tapped for this pin was also poor ( since now I have a clear view, thanks to said pin barely being screwed in). Quite a few scuffs and scratches were left all over the front of the car. Fenders, bumper, and hood (clearly fender mats weren't used....at all) Along with that, it looked as if someone had taken a shop towel and dusted of the car, leaving random scratches through out the rest of the car ( evident due to it having a light dust layer from winter storage that quite literally looks like someone went over it with a rag) mind you, I just had this car thoroughly detailed and ceramic coated before it was put into storage and in excellent condition. Was brought from the detailing garage to my garage, then from my garage to this garage for the hood pin installation. Now, we're not talking about a beat up Chevy trailblazer or Ford escort, this is a Camaro SS that's only a couple years old, has only had two oil changes due to low miles, and still smells the way it did the day the dealership removed the protective plastic from the interior. And a brand new, out the box carbon fiber hood. The owners solution was either $100 refund or bring the car back and they'll buff out the scratches and re-coat the car, even though he had just stated he knew absolutely nothing about coatings. Anyone who knows anything about ceramic coatings knows you can only get consumer grade coatings that aren't that good. Only way you're getting professional coatings is if you went through classes and certified to both purchase and apply certain coatings from certain companies. A $100 refund isn't going to cover $1,000 in a re-coat job and a cheap $50 bottle of coating from autozone isn't going to suffice either. To say I'm dissatisfied is an understatement

As a single woman I have gone to Ratvatskys for I don't even know how many years. My dad first told me about them as he, too, has been a faithful cuatomer for years. They are honest, timely, helpful and have always given me a great deal. Finding a mechanic you can trust is priceless and I'm so thankful for them!

Showed up for my annual inspection, first time customer. Had a chance to interact with 4 of the employees while they worked, friendly but focussed and efficient. Excellent results. Was told that front brakes need to replaced in 4-5 months but not yet. Kudos to owner AND shop manager for a great visit!
