I do not recommend the Freedoms Foundation program for teachers. The Freedoms Foundation is supposed to be an unbiased, non-partisan organization, when in fact the way the material was presented was entirely biased. In addition, during the program, one of the presenters made a highly inappropriate comment in response to my introduction in front of 30 OTHER colleagues. I had said I went on a road-trip and got engaged. He replied “Oh, did you meet them there too?” In a professional setting, this is unacceptable.

The Medal of Honor Grove is just fascinating. The Grove is a wonderful paved trail through the woods. Each state has a memorial with the names of all the Congressional Medal of Honor winners. Such a unique place would definitely recommend.

A place were Patriotism, Integrity, Participation, Productivity, Courage grow and are represented with all of the dedication they put into it. The Medal of Honor grove is a amazing way to honor Heroes. They offer some amazing programs for youth and adults alike, the programs are extremely interactive and really make you feel like there ia nothing this country can't accomplish when people work and dedicate themselves to it.

Wow! So much history and beauty on the grounds of the Freedoms Foundation. The curator and staff were above and beyond helpful. We went to see our family members Medal of Honor that is housed there. We were given ample time to learn about the medal and the heroism behind it. We were also shown his tree in the Medal of Honor grove. This is a beautiful trail to walk!

Great historical tributes and monuments to be found here. Even if you are not a history buff the stuff there is inspiring. Some things were blocked off, not sure if it was due to covid or current media fueled issues
