My car is currently at this shop. Someone broke into my car early Sunday morning 3/10 and low and behold a tow truck driver showed up out of no where while we were waiting for the police. Towed to Modern Auto Crafters and it's been on the lot for 6 days. Now they're telling my insurance carrier that the fee for the 6 days and mind you we're not even at the end of the 6th day as I'm writing this is over $4,000. I wish we were more with it during the process when it was broken into and did not allow it to be towed. Scam, scam SCAM BIG TIME not to mention no numbers work, all VM's are full. You're better off just going there in person or go to the police station.

This place deserves NO STARS!!! They never answer the phone. DO NOT ALLOW CAR TO BE TOWED to Modern Auto Crafters. I spoke to a representative who refused to give me their name and hung up an blocked my phone number. Extremely rude. No one knows how much storage or towing fees are. They told me,"Do not worry about it You are not paying or do you want us to send you an invoice?" I spoke to insurance and they said the rates are beyond ridiculous. They are waiting to have approval because the charges are so high and they charge hundreds per day. I usually never complain but this situation made me furious.

take your car there at your own risk the tow driver took my car there. they had my car for 3 months they never answer phone I really can go on and on but it's just makes me angry if u believe n reviews believe it run I called the better business bureau on them it's that bad

This place Is by far the best body shop in the tri state the owners are very respectful transparent gave me updates on my vehicle the whole time through the process of my vehicle being repaired they even helped out with assisting me with a rental car when I didn't haven't rental assistance on my policy I would recommend everyone to have there car fixed at modern auto crafters definitely my goto body shop

My car was confiscated on I76 way back in June. At the evident moment I gave the guy my information I was never informed or contacted about my vehicle. I also never gave him the okay to Authorize the junking of my car. It’s now been too long and I gave up the search. My Vehicle was supposed to be here as I was informed when I signed it off to these people. Now she’s no where to be found. I’ll be calling again very soon.

Deserves no star at all! Told my insurance that they need $7,000.00 to be paid for a car that was there less than a week! The car didn't worth 7k so the insurance wasn't paying it. They claim cleaning fees etc when there was nothing to be clean. This company is a damn scam.

stay away from this company! will tow your vehicle and than lie saying they are not a towing company but they receive all the tows ! one of my customers vehicle was towed to their facility after the accident and they lost her key i been trying to get in contact with someone in this place and everytime i call they are looking for the and now they are telling me they are not a towing company and they dont have her key! very rude people and unprofessional . stay away from this company they will cost you thousands of dollars if your car ever goes there !and they will give you false information so u can go away !

Do not take your car here. They will charge you in storage fees if the fix is less than what they expected. If you need fix that’s needed to be handled by your insurance. They will charge you storage fees without letting you know until it’s time to pick up your car. Do not trust these “folk”

About two weeks ago, my wife's parked car was hit, while parked in a residential parking lot. The impact drove our car back across the parking lot from space into cars on the opposite side of the parking lot. Cars on either side of space were also damaged. Philadelphia police, an ambulance and a towing service (Recovery Solutions) arrived on the scene before we were even aware that there had been an accident. The car driven by the woman who struck our car and our car blocked all traffic in the parking lot. My wife asked that her car be towed to Caliber on Washington Avenue but the tow truck driver from RECOVERY SOLUTIONS indicated that it was imperative that the cars be removed quickly and he argued for another destination, Modern Auto Crafters, on West Chester Pike. The car was ultimately taken to MODERN AUTO CRAFTERS. About 5 days later, we were informed that the "towing and storage charges" amounted to between $4000 and $5000. Please note that is NOT a repair fee as the car was a total loss. The several thousand dollar bill was simply for "towing and storage". Eventually, our insurer had the car released from MODERN AUTO CRAFTERS and we moved on. MODERN AUTO CRAFTERS has pages upon pages of atrocious reviews available on the internet. They apparently pay several towing services to bring them automobiles that have been involved in accidents and they charge exorbitant fees to have those cars released back to owners. Complete sham! I will now attempt to post a zero star review. If yelp requires some number of stars, please be aware that no star was earned. Apparently 1 star is required to post but again this is a zero star review. It's sort of like giving a star to someone who attempted to rob me.

STAY AWAY!!! Complete scam this place my daughters car was stolen my daughter reported her car stolen and later on in that same day there was a knock at the door and it was tow company guy that worked for modern auto saying my daughters car was in a car accident with three other cars and he called the cops and the cops never showed up and the car is left in the middle of the street and he haves to tow it he says the car is totaled the next day my daughter goes to see her car and the car wasn't totaled at all hear to come find out the car was never in a accident and now they want crazy money to get the car back this place is a scam they are giving us the run around about the car they say they will call you back and never do. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Scam they won't give you your car until insurance pays they want 3000 for towing my stolen car for 3 days that's what they told my tow guy when he tried to pick it up still trying to get my car pleases stay away

They stole my car. I dropped my car off there on Monday. I didn't hear back from them all week, so I called them on Friday. They told me my car was stolen Monday night. The entire week, they failed to call me to tell me, my car was stolen from their lot. After reading reviews online, other customers said their cars were stolen as well. Reported to the UD police and the police literally told me, in the future, to avoid this place bc they have SO MANY complaints against them about items being stolen from cars or the car being stolen itself.
