They don't check ALL of your items to remove alarms, you get home and can't use your purchase, now you have to run all the way back. And if you lost your receipt, you're done! They do this very often! GARRETT RD FAMILY DOLLAR, Customers do not like running back to the store!CHECK ALL ITEMS THROUGHLY FOR ALARM!!!!!!

This woman is so unprofessional.The profanity was so unprofessional and the line was long and she wasn’t trying to help the young man at the register.And she was completely rude to her other associates it’s a shame .The woman had her children sorting out the products for the tolts. I understand that she doesn’t have child care but you still have to do your job . You can’t make children do your job .

You can find everything you need. However, our cashier was on a phone call (on their private cellphone, earbuds and all) while checking us out. That was unprofessional.

The sign on the door says closed for cleaning. It definitely needs a complete overhaul and cleaning. I recently found mouse droppings on canned foods. The "store manager" I came into contact with last year needs to be trained on how to do her job and how to properly speak to & treat her customers and employees. I was shocked when she told a cashier to pay me out of his own pocket when I was overcharged for an item (more than price listed on shelf). He was instructed not to take it out of the register! I have been charged twice for items almost every time I visit. I had to check my receipts before leaving the store. I witnessed female employees laughing loudly and cursing, "f#@king" this and that, etc. This store is an embarrassment. Is anyone responsible for the oversight of the Family Dollar stores?

I only worked here for a week hence my one-star review but unfortunately it goes deeper than that.For starters, I felt cramped inside the building, merchandise is not organized properly, not clean, always seemed to be short staffed.Overall, a facility that should be replaced with another business that may be beneficial to the Upper Darby Area.

This family Dollar is very disgusting it's a shame that they have to hire people that will use profanity clearly and loudly no matter whether their children in the store or not and on top of that the store is extremely dirty and never stocked!!

The selection of items at this store is good, that's worth the one star. Cashiers are rude to customers, and slow. Cashiers behave like their jobs are secure and they don't need customers.......Good Luck with that.

Showed up 15 minutes before they closed to pick up one thing and doors were locked. We knocked on the window to get the attention of three employees just standing at the counter and they waved us away, even when we pointed out the time. We told them we needed just one thing and it was 15 minutes before close—still nothing.
