My child has been attending for a few weeks and already I am so impressed with how this center is run. This place runs so professionally and efficiently. They offer meals and snacks. The communication is very good. It’s easy to reach someone at any time during the day. The center itself is bright, clean and fun. The staff are truly the best part. Everyone is friendly and warm and genuinely care for the children. I feel very comfortable leaving my child with them. I heard this place has been around for thirty years. The experience really shows.

The daycare is well ran. They are in a location close to public transportation. Danita typically answers the phone and she also is respectful and kind. I never have to worry about my son's wellbeing in their care. They treat each child like family.

All 5 of my children went here , they all learned how to read and speak well. They also taught my kids great mannerisms, I’m forever thankful ??

This daycare is exactly what I was looking for! It was my sons’ first time in daycare and I was so nervous about leaving him. His teacher made him feel welcomed and before I knew it he was playing with his new friends. That gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend this daycare!

After several conversations with Darlene and her staff, I've come to really respect the full-service daycare and childcare services they offer. Because of their size, they have significant amount of resources and features compared to smaller centers in the area.

Nevertheless, you have managed to provide our children with a safe and nurturing environment every day. Wow, where do I even begin with this amazing daycare? If I could shout from the rooftops how fantastic this place is, I totally would!A little background for our situation: I had my first baby when my husband was deployed to the Middle East. My family lives halfway across the country, so I was juggling taking care of a baby alone and returning to work full time. I was so, so scared about taking him to daycare, but I didn't have a choice.But Darlene's and the wonderful teachers and staff immediately made me and my baby feel safe. They welcomed him with open arms, warm smiles, and loads of patience. They're attentive, loving, and genuinely care for every child under their watch.Especially Ms. Tyesha - she was helpful not just for my son, but for me! When I would pick up my son she would give me tips on things like foods to avoid that might cause constipation, how to deal with teething, and she would even help me buckle him into his baby carrier.Daily updates and photos are sent through their app, so I never feel like I'm missing out on my son's day. It's reassuring to know that he's safe and happy, even when I'm at work. It's also great because they can send reminders when he runs out of wipes or diapers.Overall, I couldn't be happier with Darlene's. It's not just a place to drop off my son; it's a nurturing environment where he's flourishing. If you're looking for a daycare that goes above and beyond, this is it!In short, if I could give this daycare a thousand stars, I would. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I had the pleasure of enrolling my child at this day care facility, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere put both my child and me at ease. The staff here are exceptional, demonstrating a genuine love for children and a commitment to their well-being.The educational programs are top-notch, providing a perfect balance between learning and playtime. I've seen my child grow in confidence and knowledge while having a blast with their peers. The facility is clean, safe, and equipped with all the necessary resources for a nurturing environment.What truly sets this day care apart is the communication with parents. They keep us well-informed about our child's activities, progress, and any special events. It's evident that the staff here truly cares about each child's individual needs and development.I can't recommend this day care facility enough. By far the best of the best. My son been going to this center for 6 years since he was about 6-8 months old and every one here is a godsend. They are welcoming and very supportive. My son is autistic and there was never an issue when it came to helping him thrive with his development. They opened their door and was a big help with letting his aids come in to work with him as well. And there was never no judgement. My son legit loves coming everyday and he always make sure he get a goodbye hug from Ms. Elaine. I can’t wait to enroll my daughter when she old enough. I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else.

I was really upset with this daycare. She was very sweet and nice but once I told her my son was autistic. I stopped hearing back from her. She never sent me the paperwork. I still even tired after this but then just gave up. I was very upset that they did not want my son due to his special needs.

If your coming from a small facility to this one, second guess it. I should’ve done my due diligence and toured the place before sending my son but as a busy single mom I had faith it was okay. The communication is lacking and confusing. There were TWO VERY serious instances where my son was assaulted by another child and somehow no one saw it. Thank God he spoke up. I was supposed to receive a follow up on what was seen on the cameras; never happened.To re-enroll him was such a fight I went down there because I couldn’t get through. It was reported that I was rude and nasty when I didn’t accuse anyone, call anyone out their name, cause a scene etc. I stated my case and asked for a direct number and when to contact and went about my business.When I finally did get in contact with someone I was told that it was “obvious” that something was going on bc of their lack of response. I had no clue the person who handles that was out bc there was no communication, it wasn’t obvious to me. I was also lectured about how I should watch my tone because they watch my kid; which could easily be perceived as a threat.Finally, I emailed Ms. Lois in regards to the situation in which I was “rude & nasty” to meet with her and get to the bottom of it. Never received a reply. Thank goodness we were able to go elsewhere. Think twice and meet with everyone.

I love Darlene’s!! ❤️ The staff is super sweet, accommodating, and great with my child (all the children really). I love the app they use to give updates about my child throughout the day. It’s helpful because I know how much she ate, how many times she went to the bathroom, and all the fun activities she’s doing. My daughter has been there for 8 months now and she loves it. Her teachers are amazing, they tend to my child and the classroom with love and care. They have a lot of patience and always make time to discuss my daughters day with me or my husband. The only thing I wish they had was an outdoor space or some type of outside time. They do however have a big play room/gym for the kids loaded with all kinds of toys and activities. ?

Ms.Tyesha is the greatest! I am extremely thankful that I have found this childcare center. It’s very scary trusting strangers with your children, But Darlene’s have made that very easy for my husband and I. The director is so kind and all the staff really cares about the children and handle even difficult situations very well. I am looking forward to sending my new baby here! Thank you Darlene’s wee care, for allowing me to work in peace knowing that my children are safe and learning so many new things. They specialize in children with special needs and show ALOT of patience and so much love.

I have a 5 month old who is in Miss.Tyesha’s class and I am pleased with her work. She very quick with responding about my daughter anytime I have a question or concern. She informs me throughout the day with updates and pictures which I absolutely love! I love their portal and it’s super easy to use! Last but not least whenever I pick my daughter up at the end of the day she gives her teacher miss.Tyesha a hug. That makes me feel like my daughter not only likes her but also feels safe with her and that’s really important to me. There’s never a time I feel worried while she’s there. :)

Darlene’s is the best daycare around upper Darby , my son went there since he was 9months and now he’s 7 my daughter goes there now also and she’s 2 , learning everything and coming home with projects and they have the best app that shows you there daily things!
