They have no idea of how to cut hair

This was my first time visiting this location. As my haircut consists of nothing more than shaving what little hair I still have left, I am only able to offer limited insight on the quality of service. However, my hairsytlist was very courteous and professional, and the price was reasonable. Even if your haircut requires more skill than mine, I think this place is worth trying at least once. I will likely return next time my hair grows back and I am in the neighborhood.

I wanted to get a quick haircut after we were done shopping. I didn't have an appointment but there wasn't anyone getting a haircut and the one person that I seen working there was just sitting there doing nothing. I asked her if I could get a haircut real quick and she said no. Mind you I have short hair and it only takes about 15 minutes tops to cut it. She said she had someone that was supposed to be coming in at 2:45. It was 2:30 at the time I had asked. Oh well I guess. I won't ever be going there. I'll go elsewhere

My wife and I received excellent treatment and service at this smart style. Hair stylists Cindy was very nice to both of us and gave my wife an excellent cut and style. I also received a great hair cut.

I took my mother to the Uniontown location today to get a haircut. There were 3 customers in there and I saw only ONE worker. We stood there for 10 minutes (in plain site of the worker) and she didn't so much as even greet us or tell us that there would be a wait. Needless to say, we left and went to Fantastic Sam's where she got a great haircut. We won't be back to SmartStyle in Uniontown.

I had a noon appointment for cut, color & highlights with Heather checked in at 11:50 and was told they were running a little behind. I hung around for a bit and saw she just started washing someone’s hair. I waited until 12:25 asked how much longer and Healthier said just a few more minutes she was still cutting hair. My time is valuable I made an appointment not to have to wait. I tip very well so her lost.I wouldn’t use the salon poor time management and dishonest.

Last two times I've visited this salon its been empty and no stylist available. Absolutely no one in salon but refused to do simple kid cut! Don't blame covid, it's management

Bree just cut and styled my hair on the busiest Friday either of us has seen since covid shut things down. She did an absolutely awesome job giving me just what I asked for and expected, for a very reasonable price. I would reccomend booking with her any time I am asked!

I've gotten my hair done here on many occasions over the past 6 or 7 years, maybe longer. I think it's important to note that Smart Style is a less-expensive spin-off of the Regis Salon chain. My hair has always been quite difficult to work with - it's thin & straight, with no body of its own - so the proper cut is important. I'm also very particular about my bangs. I'd say that 80% of the time, I'm happy with their service. For a mainly walk-in salon, they have done a very good job. I've gotten color done - including color correction when home coloring wasn't working out for me anymore - as well as styling. Though they don't run such specials, there've been a couple of times I've gone in on my birthday & asked if they could style my hair at a reduced rate, and since I *asked* instead of demanding, they were really nice about it. I don't do that every year. I don't want to take advantage of their kindness. Yes, as "80% happiness" would imply, there have also been a few times when I wasn't exactly pleased with my service, usually having to do with my bangs. As a former server, I let my tips reflect my satisfaction. All-in-all, considering the kind of service they provide, I believe they actually do a good job. If you want some kind of expert service, though, I don't recommend going to a discount salon in Walmart. They have their limitations.

I went in to the Uniontown Walmart location at 415PM today, as a new client and the receptionist made an appointment for me and told me to come back at 5PM after taking my name and phone number. When I came back, I was told to take a chair and someone would be right with me. No one ever responded. Twenty five minutes later, the hair stylist who told me take a chair got finished with her client and then asked me if I was waiting for someone. I told her I had been waiting for 25 minutes and had an appointment for 5PM. She then checked the appointment book and said she could not find my name. I made moves to leave, told her I had groceries in my cart outside the door, and a waiting boyfriend and that I could not wait any longer. She said to wait, someone would be with me. I replied by saying, no thanks. I sure was made to feel like I was an invisible person and do not recommend this place. Their customer service was really bad and their clients don't come first.
