Terrible experience every time. Went with my little sister and mom dress shopping for my sister's school dance. Started at the back rack and, when me and my partner ventured fowards to look at other dresses, we were told "thoes are more expensive and probably not in your price range." I informed the woman that price was not an issue and she scoffed and watched us like a hawk the whole time. After we left (myself and my partner), my sister found a dress she liked but was to large. When she told the woman it did not fit, the owner made the comment "oh would it not zip". Immediately assuming my sister was to large for a dress that was a size 18. After being called poor and making fun of a childs weight, we left the store and do not plan on returning. Would not recommend this dress shop for anyone wanting a positive and fun dress shopping experience.

Patties is a excellent place for all your formal needs.

No one has ever been treated rudely at Patties bridal. People make up the most ridiculous stories on here. Example: People finding it offensive when you suggest a size. We are only trying to help the customer find a dress. Example: We do not sell anyone's dress that is actively paying for their dress either and like most businesses dresses are not ordered here unless they are paid for.... Thank you

I was supposed to get married in 2014 and used this bridal shop as my first, go-to choice before they moved into the mall. A series of unfortunate events happened that stopped my fiance and I from getting married in 2014. We were part of a car accident. My wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses were already paid for and the owner of this store reassured us that she would hold onto our dresses until our new wedding date. We planned for 2016, and unfortunately, things did not work out for us a second time when my mother had gotten breast cancer. When I called to ask about holding onto the dresses again or at least picking them up to, she said that only my wedding dress was available. I was confused, "only the wedding dress?", I asked. As it turns out, she SOLD my already paid for bridesmaid dresses to other customers and claimed that they were taking space in her stockroom. I don't care what kind of business you're running, you NEVER take a prior customer's money and then sell what they bought to another customer just because the dresses are taking space in your storage. I sent my girls to get refunds put back onto their credit cards and she refused to do so, only offering store credit instead. We didn't want store credit, we wanted the money returned. I reported her business to the BBB immediately for shady practices. My girls never got their money back for dresses that they paid for that were freely given to other customers. It's 2022 and I'm finally getting married no thanks to her. I went to Pat's Bridal in Connellsville where I found the perfect dress, no problems, and the lady there was far more understanding and compassionate than this woman was. Also more reasonably priced too.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! THEY ARE RUDE,SHADY,OVERPRICED, AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS! We went in there with the bride to place orders for bridesmaid dresses. Patty (the owner) is pushy & cares more about her crafts than her bridal customers & the service quality. We were told we had to pay off the dresses before they actually took our measurements and ordered the dresses. Ok, not a big deal. So I paid off my dress a month later. Patty took my measurements, then when she looked at the sizing charts says oh its gonna cost $20 more than the contract price you signed because you need one of the bigger sizes. Knowing I wasn't a tiny person, she should have brought that up before when I signed the contract to pay for the dress initially. Whatever it was $20 but its the point. So we waited a few months and the dresses came in. Patty (owner)stated they had an inhouse seamstress (also named Patty). We elected to have alterations done it house for sake of ease. BIG MISTAKE! Patty (seamstress) has another job and does alterations on the side ,off the books from the dress shop. Her work is PITIFUL and she is UNWILLING TO FIX MISTAKES!!! Patty (seamstress) stated that it would take 2-3 weeks for alterations. No big deal, it took a month and my dress was all screwed up. My straps completely fell off after putting on the dress 2 times for 5 mins total. She folded in the top of the bust area and just sewed it. So now I have wings from the folds on the side of my boobs. It was also sewed crooked & one side of my dress is higher then the other. Never mind the other issues. I had the bride double check all of this as I tried the dress on for her. She confirmed the same issues. Mind you the other bridesmaids dresses were also done poorly and had similar issues! We contacted Patty (owner) and were told we have to wait for the seamstress to come into the store so they can talk to her. Days later I get a call, when the seamstress is in store, wanting me to come in on days and times when I am working. They close at 5pm and were unwilling to accommodate to fix my poorly altered dress. I asked for a partial refund from the seamstress because I was not able to get there due to her scheduling. The seamstress (Patty) was rude and had a sarcastic remark saying "What do you want, $5?" and if I can't come in when its good for her she doesn't know what to tell me. Easter is coming and she won't have her next schedule until May. The wedding is a month away (beginning of May, I can't wait till last minute and hope she fixes it right the 2nd time around). After those nasty comments I just hung up, rather than being rude because I wasn't going to get it fixed or the situation made right. I paid $138 to get my dress altered and Patty altered it incorrectly. My dress is so messed up to the point to where I can't even really wear it. So the bride actually took the dress into the shop the next day after the call and spoke with Patty (owner). Patty was rude to the bride, never once apologized, even after she saw how bad the dress was in person, did not want to help by any means, and called us liars. Patty (owner) did not care and said she never had this problem in 8 years.Well all the dresses of this bridal party are ruined because of your seamstress so obviously it is not a concern for her business. Patty (owner) insisted that I have Patty (seamstress) fix my dress and that I make time.

Very rude.. my friend and I went in there to buy or find a dress, she wouldn’t let us look for our selfs she basically told us where we could look my friend tried 2 dresses on there were no problems at first. Then I found one I liked and tried it on mind you I’m a really small person. My waist isn’t very big, I asked the lady if she could help me clip it. She didn’t even try she just said it’s to small on you…and then my friend had clipped it for me and I walked out to show my boyfriend and she was like oh wow you actually got it to fit. I go back in and take it off. I come out and hand it to her and she asks us the sizes of them to put them back and I said I’m not sure, she looks down at the end goes it’s a two and then looks me up and down and goes your need a size 6 or 8. Mind you I’m already insecure and she just made it way worse. How can someone body shame a young kid let alone anybody else ? down below is a photo of the dress on me it’s the blue one

Patty and her daughter are absolutely amazing. Everyone would be thrilled with their help. And even if you’re not looking for a formal gown, Patty has the most beautiful crafts for every occasion

Very rude and pushy!!!! I called a week before hand and scheduled for a bridal party fitting. When I showed up for my appointment I started to pick dresses she said 2 at a time. I said very well that’s fine. As I was trying a dress on and come out she would be like “your saying yes to this one right???” Meanwhile after offering me dresses on the mannequins to try I put them on. Then when I wasn’t sure about a dress yet and wanted to think while my bridesmaids were going to try she said “ I don’t have time for this I’m by myself and now I have to put these back on the mannequins because you didn’t want to buy them!!” She didn’t even let me look at dresses for myself she picked them and didn’t cAre what I thought of them. Needless to say I bought the same dress I was thinking on somewhere else. Oh and forget those prices. Hers run 300-600 more then everywhere else!!!

She was very rude to both me & my bridesmaids. No one should ever be spoken to the way we were. I will not be buying my dresses there. Even though she had some beautiful dresses, I cannot support her business after the way she treated us. Plus I think her prices were a bit outrageous, I found similar dresses $100 cheaper elsewhere.
