With no prior notice at all, I was told not to come back to the store through a phone call after I made an online appointment. The most unbelievable part is that when I came in today earlier in person, the cashier on the front told me to come back once a stylist is available on the website. However, the Stylist unprofessionally didn’t communicate anything regarding this to me for a visit I made 5 months ago which is ridiculously too long ago to finally bring up again. Honestly, this unfair treatment interrupted by an abrupt phone call I excluding me out of nowhere. This especially one held by an unreasonably long grudge based on the miscommunication from months ago convinced me that this stylist establishment are ran by people who don’t fairly communicate anything. The Stylist expressed no bad thoughts at the time of the visit. I’ve done nothing illegal. I didn’t harass anyone and I paid for the services including a tip. I’m taking my business where they treat their clients with a more mature and direct attitude. This establishment overall consists of those who need to learn to be more direct about who and how they provide services. I also feel targeted, discriminated against, and stereotyped since I’m a biological male getting haircut services in a dominantly female oriented stylist shop. Their behavior towards me is simply atrocious. I would not recommend anyone to come here with this kind of intolerance for people without talking to them beforehand especially from several months ago. Refusing a customer is bad business period. I understand that everyone should feel comfortable there, but I felt uncomfortable about the misleading communication especially since I was already there today. And to top it all off, I was asked about dating apps by the stylist during the haircut and I gave my input on my personal opinion about the apps and the odds stacked against one gender over the other ratiowise. There was no disorderly conduct that was called to attention during my visit by any means. This is straight up stereotyping males as creeps which makes made me so offended, I’m glad I’m not welcomed back because I don’t want to come back either way. If I had to give zero stars by this inappropriate behavior of misleading me to just ban me without prior notice is inappropriate. The manager should be held accountable for this type of discriminatory behavior especially since this is 2024.

I recently encountered what I would consider to be my most disappointing customer service experience at the Sports Clips in Trexlertown. I had checked in online, specifically requesting Maddie, the assistant manager at this location. The estimated wait time for the check-in was 190 minutes, which seemed reasonable for a Saturday following a holiday weekend. When I received a text message indicating that there was only 15 minutes left before my appointment, I left my home and headed to the salon.Upon arrival, I checked in at the location's computer for both myself and my son. The board displayed that I was in the salon and had three minutes left before I was due for service. At this point, my one-year-old son was crying and having a bit of a meltdown, which is typical for a child his age when having to sit still. Maddie approached the computer, and I assumed she was accessing our account. To my disappointment, I was then skipped over for another client, and the board indicated a 20-minute wait. This was particularly bothersome given the long initial wait time, and being skipped over was truly upsetting.I brought this issue to the attention of the manager, Danielle, but only received a vague assurance that she would address the matter. Unfortunately, due to the unprofessionalism I experienced, Sports Clips in Trexlertown has lost a customer. If the establishment has a program and policies in place, they should adhere to them just as customers are expected to.

Do not value the time of the customer.I booked an appointment with Jess (Assistant Manager) with approx wait time of 110 min. After reaching the store, I have to wait another 40 min and then when it was my turn, Jess took another customer. She did not even had the courtesy to inform or apologize for skipping me. When I asked, she made another person to tell me that i have to wait another 15 min.Didn’t expect such a rude behavior from an Assistant Manager.

For my youngest Grandson's haircuts my daughter will no longer be going back. Not doing what the parent asks for, not following the note card on file, $30 bad haircut with either the lack of ability or refusal to do a requested basic fade.

Love the place. Have been coming here for over an year now and my experience has always been great. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Every time they have done a good job with the haircuts. The MVP package is something that sets Sport Clips apart and this store does a great job with the MVP option

Came in person, signed in and watched for the next 20 minutes while online appointments were moved in front until I dropped off the board. Never Again. Nobody to speak to.

From a fast sign in, to a collaborative cutting/styling session, this was an amazing experience. Kayla provided insights on what would look good in terms of a haircut and walked my through the whole MVP treatment. Can’t wait until my next haircut!Services: Haircut
