Olivia the unit manager on D3 is race's against Spanish speaking people..she's mean against employers and residents who speaks Spanish it's very sad that someone in her position acts so unprofessional they need to put someone who is highly qualified in her position to take over before things get outta hand just saying..besides that it's a great place. ?

When mother was not able to get in wheelchair by herself. They made her feel like she was a burden. For someone who worked their whole life. It is very depressing to depend on others. Even her food tray was taken away five min after arriving. When ask they said she won't eat anyway.Family was there when she ask to get out of bed. They said well you won't get back in bed till late. Definitely would not recommend.

My dad was sent there for fiscal therapyThey just give him a room and they only give him he's medication and thats it, no therapy they just let use a walker by himself that's about it on fiscal therapy, room's the never clean them I had to ask for a broom to swip the floor ,thats happening to me and i go 2 time every day to checkon my dad I'm transferring to another place...I won't recommend this place if you really love your family

Janel Fortun has lied in front of a judge in the court of law...I have proof on proof of paperwork of her lying..It's pretty sad and shameful of a case workers..When they should be protecting children..she did not protect nobody..Erin Oshansky did not speak up and let it happen.I would never feel safe around this women with my children at all !And as a foster mother it's shameful how she treats people badly...A mother chose a man that could not be around children a year ago she dropped her off at my house at 3moths old...

My Mom came here after a fall for therapy. Ring buzzer, 10.min still no one. Put diapers on my Mom who is not incontinent. Supposed to shower her Mon & Fri, never happened.She has been here 11 days, that is 11 too long. I will say the Therapy Dept. Is wonderful!!! I hate to say all were lazy, but most. Very bad communication between who does what.

This place is awful my mom has sores from waiting in urine for staff never gets the food she orders the staff steals her belongings and they left her fall and didn't ever get her a xray now she can't even stand I pushed her bell and waited 3 hours for staff to come 3 effin hours

My mom can never answer the phone because someone keeps turning off the rigger! Talk to staff and they were no help! Talk with the administrator and he said he will take care of it himself! What a joke he is! Still can’t talk to my mother! They shut her off from the world! Do not take your family there to live! If I was in better health myself I would get her out of the worst nursing home I ever visited!

I work for a nursing agency that employs me to The Lutheran Home Of Topton Personal Care. I have been a nurse for 32 years and have worked for agencies off and on for many years. I have worked almost every aspect of nursing but I have never come across a group of nursing staff like the staff employed at The Lutheran Home of Topton PC. The staff there truly love the residents they care for. They all work together as a team to provide the best care I have ever seen. They have donated their time, money and services. They go above and beyond. They bring baked goodies and food from home to share with the residents. They sit and truly listen to the residents reminiscing about their families or their past. They share some of their own stories with the residents. If a resident becomes sick they all come together to provide the best care to enable a quick recovery. I am sorry to say in this profession it is difficult to find people who care and impossible to teach people who don’t care. The Lutheran Topton Home Personal Care has been extremely fortunate to find such a caring, devoted, loving, passionate and dedicated group of women. Thank you Ginesia Wade, Angel Shiner, Olivia Bower,Charlene Smith,Denise Rothermel,Justine Sefchick Lori Moyer and Debbie Zambito Anna U, Julie U and Ashley for being you. Thank you for taking such great care of the residents and thank you for setting the example of how awesome nurses should be. You guys are the best of the best and I’m so proud to know you ladies.

I waited to post this. My mother was placed there for rehab. Everyone was nice but actions speak louder than words. I was relieved with the staff and my choice of places that were available when I left the 1st day. Not everyone there deserves this review. Yes they were short staffed so I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. My mother called me that night in tears because she had to go to the bathroom & waited for 2 hours until she was in pain & I called them. I asked about my mom's medication because she said she wasn't getting it. The lady that handled meds when asked by the lady at the desk said with attitude - what about it? I snapped back where is it? She didn't respond. I asked her another day about a specific medication. She said oh yes we have it here your mom will get it tonight but my mom didn't. She should be fired!!! The doctor that went in to see my mom said there was no order for her meds but the med lady told me she did put in the order?? My mom said most of her meals were cold and not what she ordered. What she did eat sI e had to eat so fast because if not they took her tray before she was done. She said she didn't expect them to come running when she rang the buzzer but they never came - to the point she had someone show her how to shut off the buzzer. I was visiting her one night and listened to someones buzzer going off from the time I got there until I left. I seen staff sitting on their butts at the desk that could have been and should have been helping. When my mom left they gave me a med list. One was a diabetic monitor. It was not included. I called and they said they would have that med lady call me back. As you can imagine I never heard anything. If my mom ever has to go back to a rehab it will not be this one!!!

Horrible service, my mother went there for rehabilitation to help walk again and they left her in bed for 23.5 hours a day. On top of it she got Covid from the place and asked to go to the hospital because she couldn’t breathe properly and she was refused. After some screaming and yelling they finally called an ambulance to transport her to a hospital. This place is a disgrace. Don’t send your family members here to go and die.
