Stopped in on a mission. The mission was to purchase one of the best made traditional pocket knives in the world. Mission complete. I Purchased a #38 Camp and Tool "Johnny On The Spot." This fit me like a well fitted glove since I both enjoy camping and bicycling. I also had the pleasure to meet the people behind the knife. Thank you all for what you do. Hope to stop in again in the future.

I wish you had a little better quality control. I have purchased two knives I fixblade in a 23 bullet and the fix blade is so doll on the front half and sharp on the back half. And the 23 has a gap in between the handle and the inside flat piece of metal next to the blade for about a half inch on one side that a piece of paper can fit through. So sad to see quality like this. I have heard nothing but praise but from several years ago. I have a third knife on the way from a vendor off your website authorized dealer for a 97 Coke bottle Beavertail, I hope this one is better. I really wish your model 85 Beavertail would be available for purchase soon however if this third one doesn’t take the cake I’m done. Thank you for making it in America at least, now just make us proud of the quality...

Very cool little gem tucked away in Titusville. Small storefront and a helpful staff. The really cool part is being able to look down on the machines they used to make the knives as soon as you walk in the building. Definitely worth the trip

Bill Howard was the most thorough and attentive owner of a Cutlery Company that this child has ever had the pleasure of being schooled by. He took us through step-by-step operations of his nice company and introduced me to all of his master technician who through their expertise produce the most precise folding knives that I have had the pleasure of adding to my collection, and all of this is done with hand-to-eye coordination rather than robotics or machine work done with computers. I have a huge collection of pocket knives and fixed blade knives with a very high percentage of them being from case of Bradford. I am very happy with Case Knives but to be completely honest the fit and finish of the back Springs and the flatness of the scales to the back Springs and the center dividers have always been wanting. With Bill's crew and expertise in design and operation everything that they put together at Great eastern Cutlery is dead flat and has uniform tightness throughout all seems and scales giving it a wonderful balance eye appeal, and functional Beauty. Bill sets aside the knives that he considers seconds whereas other companies push them through to the consumer gambling that they will never come back, rather than selling the honest value of a first run perfect folding knife. Heat treat of the blades with either 440 or 1095 give these knifes very long working Edge, and is superior to the same steals with an inferior heat treat from other major brands that I have used. Although I collect knives I also use them and abused them and have to re sharpen many of my knives regularly, Bill's knives are hard but they are also tough, and they cut nicely with a diamond Stone and I have not experienced any gumminess or rollover that is common in similar metallurgy, so the evaluations of their blades at Great Eastern cutlery is one of considerable experience. I highly recommend these Northfield knives without reservation, along with his other brands that are very similar materials and workmanship.
