Alderfer Glass has supplied and installed both of the storm doors in our house, the front door about 3 years ago and the back door about 15 years ago. Recently the interior handle/latch mechanism on the back door broke and, because of the age of the door, a replacement part apparently was not available. So over the course of a few months Alderfer both quoted us for a new door, but also worked with me and tried to locate and fit a replacement handle for the current door. Eventually Eric found a handle on Amazon that he thought might work, and I ordered and installed it, and it does fit!.
The point is, we saved having to replace a perfectly good door (except for the broken handle) and spent under $35. Alderfer gave up a current sale, but retained a customer for the future, because their customer service and installers continue to be unfailingly helpful, courteous, and professional.

I had to replace glass for 1 window and screens for 4 windows. Total was $550 for everything.
Reasonably priced and very professional work. Great communication and punctual. Highly recommend!

Everything from start to finish ran perfectly. Our order came in sooner than expected. Delivery and installation went flawless. Our experience with the entire Team at Alderfer Glass, from our showroom visit, our Pricing Proposal with options, to the Field Measure Technician, timely delivery to the Installation Crew was an excellent experience for the new shower door work they performed at our residence. My windows and sliding glass door are beautiful but since installation, water is pouring in the top of the slider every time it rains. They returned to check and blame the house. No help from them unless i want to pay another 325$.

Great experience with my frameless shower glass enclosure. I was pleasantly surprised that it was ready to be installed earlier than they quoted me. Kevin and Gary were able to install it in a few hours. The only reason for the 4 stars was because the shower handle was loose right after installation and water was leaking out of the enclosure. The customer service was great and the issues were taken care of promptly. I would definitely use them again!
