Harvest Moon Coffee & Chocolates
206 Corbet St, TarentumWarm and welcoming coffee shop! Beverages and pastries were amazing. We had a hot latte with brown sugar and cinnamon, an ice chai latte, a blueberry muffin (really big and delicious), and a apple hand pie (and they warmed it for me!) Everything was delicious! The staff is so nice and helpful, and the atmosphere inside is very relaxing. They also have a chocolate shop in the back! Parking is on the street, but we had no trouble finding parking right outside. Definitely worth a trip to Tarentum to check this out! I'm already looking forward to going back and trying a breakfast hand pie!Vegetarian options: Spinach, egg, and cheese hand pie. Oat and almond milk for lattes. Lots of pastries!

JG's Tarentum Station Grille
101 Station Dr, TarentumI ordered the Diablo pasta with salad, my husband the Pittsburgh style steak with a baked potato and salad. We also ordered a fried zucchini appetizer. The fried zucchini and salad were both delicious, I loved the poppy seed sweet and sour dressing. The pasta, though... I guess I should have asked questions. I love spicy hot food, the problem was not that the dish was too spicy. The problem was that the dish was hot for the sake of being hot. There was no flavor to the hot peppers/sausage in it at all. It's also literally just tomato sauce, I guess I was expecting a marinara. Was it horrible? Absolutely not. Would I order it again? Absolutely not. My husband's steak looked (and he says it tasted) delicious, but he said the baked potato was overcooked and dry. He didn't finish it.I expected more of a $100 meal.
