“FD Drivers: You're going to have to approach this store so that the store is on your right. There is a loading zone along the street in front of the store, that's where you're parking, good staff, decent unload.”

“Friendly overwhelmed associates. Come on Dollar General, hire at least one stock person per store. They should do NOTHING but stocking shelves. In addition to a stock person, be sure to have a cashier to check out the customers only. Could be considered an attempt to cut down on the "millions" of complaints about aisles being constantly overflowing with product, at EVERY store. It's really not that hard to figure out. Get back to caring about customer satisfaction and do something about this major issue. EDIT 1/2/23: Over the last few months, I've noticed more help at this location. Store doesn't have the blocked aisles as it's had in the past. One suggestion, bring out one or two carts of products from the truck at a time. Try not to bring the majority of them in from loading dock resulting in clogged aisles. Great job ladies, thank you!”

“Always full shelves and tons of great buys. Even if they had to raise their prices to 90% of all their inventory, they made up for it by having more brand names than ever. Like with beauty products. Tons of Animal friendly options too which are usually expensive and hard to find at times.”

It always has what I'm looking for plus more!The store is always clean and isles are never blocked by boxes or debris.There is handicap ♿ parking areas that are close to the door, and several of them are available ?!Cashiers are friendly and knowledgeable about where a product is located in the store!!”

“FD Drivers: Apparently many of the drivers use rhe diner parking lot across the street to turn around and drive straight down along the front of the building but, if you can't do that, use the entire street and turn right into the parking lot of the Plaza via the entrance closest to the plaza itself. You want the plaza to remain on your left and be as close to it as possible without hitting the roof obviously
Your two biggest obstacles will be the corner of the roof on your driver side and the cars parked closest to the street on your passenger side when turning into the Plaza. It's doable, just use the entire street to swing wide.
Door is in the middle of the Plaza (green and black doors) don't spin around and try to pack up to where the red poles are. That may have been a door at one point but it's a bricked up wall now.”
“Love this particular DG in Plum Pa. Perfect location. Most outgoing, friendly staff. The store merchandise is arranged in a manner u would hope to see it arranged, it is very tidy. Not all DG`s are created equal.”
“This is a very huge store. Very neat and clean the aisle are wide shelves are well stocked. Well lit and cool inside although it is hot outside. Seems to have everything you need in here. They have a food section candle section. Not many carts and they are small just so you know.”
“Everything! I especially like the Dollar General right next to the new Kensington bridge. They are always stocked And always have what I need. Another thing nice about this Store is that everything is always fresh, which is a major plus! I would rather go to Dollar General because it is easy to maneuver around unlike Walmart where you have to walk a mile to get from one end of the store to the other. Kudos Dollar General.”
“I was at the Dollar General by my house yesterday. There was a line, and the employees were laughing, but still working to stock shelves. Some dude behind me complained about them laughing. You can laugh and work at the same time. Also, if there is a self checkout, it was probably installed because there are only a couple of people working at a time. To any customer who behaves like this in a store, unless you are willing to go apply and fill the worker shortage then shut your mouth. You're literally a huge part of the problem. YOU and your stupid complaints are why no one wants to work. Not because of worker laziness, but because of misbehaving, RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE CUSTOMERS!!! Shout out to the employees for remaining professional when people are so impolite.”

I called the Springdale store, ring several times, & I hung up knowing they are a busy store! Minutes later, they called me apologizing for not getting to the phone on time = GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! “This family dollar is close to my house, I can walk or catch public transportation. It's in a convention location with other shops. It's open until 10pm, if you need cash back, I'd recommend going somewhere else because at times they can't give cash back. They have a good amount of items that I need. It's as organized as it can get. Compared to other family dollars I've been to, this one is the cleanest. When you walk in, there's only a one way in and out entrance. Which I think is a good idea especially if it's really busy. But sometimes it can make me anxious because everyone is staring at you lol. I find everything I need. There are some items that aren't there but overall my experience is a good one. If I need help, the employees are very helpful. They have items for a very low price and I don't go in spending over. They have foods that would be really expensive at giant eagle so I usually buy from there and get the rest of my groceries from giant eagle. never had an issue. The wait time to cash out depends on the time of day as well as how many cashiers are behind the registers, sometimes 2 people sometimes 1 person from the time I've been there.”
“FD Drivers: Back door is a dock located on 8th St. You can get there 2 ways, either right on 8th and back into the back lot or go up to 9th, turn right, turn right on 4th, turn right on 8th blind side from that side. There's a lot of space back there. Their dock is the closest one to the building (of the bay doors straight back)”

“This store should be the blueprint for how a store should look. I have been to a number of Dollar Tree stores and none have come close to the beauty of this store. It was well lit, clean, well stocked and the cashier was very nice and helpful. I could have spent all day in this store and of course spent a lot more money! Kudos to the manager and staff of this awesome Dollar Tree store!”
