just spent 12 dollars on breakfast sandwiches. the bacon looks like they threw it into a microwave for a minute and was raw. tasted horrible.

Was so hungry after a long morning and skipped breakfast to go to appointment stopped and bought a sub with Italian dressing and pickles, and some pasta salad. Got my Sandwich home, was so good I did a happy dance in my kitchen.

Deli girls come fromnoutside smoking cigs,straight to sandwiches. No gloves. Waited ten minutes to take my order, then filled the ordervof the person behind me and i waited 15 more minutecto get my 12 dollar , stale hoagie. Freds aint the same anymore.

A great old fashioned store they have a little bit of everything and the prices are decent. Where else can you see them cut your T Bone or Porterhouse steak. The meat alone is reason enough to go here. The staff is friendly as well . A definite diamond in the rough.

Honestly the place use to be a good place to go with old staff but now with the new people mainly 2 who i will not name the place is much less of a friendly environment. One worker in particular is in personality rude and cold and will say what she wants regardless and almost acts like she is perfect. When the old owners left so did much of the friendly environment.,

This used to be a friendly neighborhood store. The manager is miserable and rude. Several instances have occurred where she wouldn't even cut us steak because she was too busy she said. Then I ordered a couple steaks for Mother's Day. I went there at 2 PM and shop was closed. Well my wife and I just got rudely talked to in front of customers no less and said she was there until 3:15 and I never showed so the meat went bad. I went Monday to to try get the steaks. They are closed I didn't know. She said I've been here long enough to know that too so I was accused of being a liar as well. A new manager is needed immediately.

I grew up on Broad Ave just around the corner. I ate Speedies, and hoagie from there for years. My mom bought our meat from the Fred that owned the shop. Top notch business wish there were more.
