I contacted them via email; I had a reply within an hour, the replacement plate shipped same day, and I received it in two days. Josh even emailed me the tracking number for the replacement. “Harbor freight is a great place for budget friendly tools and supplies. Always comparison ship and read reviews. Their US General toolboxes are tough to beat especially when combined with discounts. Just remember they do have several "made in china" shortcomings. The staff is usually friendly and helpful often suggesting discounts and upcoming sales. One more thing-its not really a "tool rental" place as they have restocking fees on many items to ensure customers don't rent for free. Their Icon line of tools tryst to seem top quality but they aren't although great for most users. It would be great if they had additional sizes to expand your sets. You are really stuck with what they offer. Hint: when they warranty an item that is part of a set they simply pull a set off the shelf, remove the item and use that as the replacement. The set with the missing part then is put on sale "as-is". So if you look at their as-is tools you can see where failures have occurred (sure there is theft but how many shoplifters are really after say, a 10mm socket?”
