At self check out I tried using my mom's 50.00 bill, but her bill was worn and machine would not accept it, so I asked someone about it and he said he would ask the manager to see what she would say. Manager took bill, raised it up to the light ,said it was real and I'm sure she didn't mean to, but tore it in half, then proceeded to apologize that she could not accept it because the bank would not accept it! Needless to say I was upset. After scanning my groceries and my mom's groceries, which is time-consuming, I had to leave her groceries behind. My mom is 98 years old. She had to go home without her food. This happened a month ago and have not returned to their store since. We used to do our food shopping on average 4 times a week but I refuse to return because I felt we should've been treated as valued customers and more should've been done to accommodate the situation. I later took this 50.00 bill to my bank and they accepted it.

The food areas are not clean enough Monday is always a bad day to go there the produce is terrible on Mondays the deli counter does not have enough staff to take care of the customers. The seafood department every orange right has a strong fish odor I don't believe the seafood is fresh the one I am talking about is on 447 next to the Sunoco station in East Stroudsburg

I rarely visit Weis but I remember why I don't now. BIG SHOUT OUT to cashier LUARA!! for turning my day from great to terrible. Please fix your attitude it affects everyone around you.

It is a good store. But when I was there no lanes were open with an employee to scan my items. They said that I could scan my own items. I feel that they should have at least one lane open with an employee. I do not work for Weis markets. If they want their customers to scan their own items they should at least give a 10% discount to your customers. It is only fair.

Haven't been in a while. Everything was repositioned, but for a good thing. It's a very clean and organized store. The staff are very nice.
