“I recently went to the Pocono Commons Plaza and had the best haircut experience I’ve ever had. I went to the Holiday Hair, because I have been meaning to find a place that can cut my hair the way I want. The Hairdresser I went to was Christine, and she did an amazing job. We talked out exactly what I wanted, and showed different examples and did EXACTLY what I asked for. She was very kind, and treated my hair so nicely. Even the other hairdressers there were doing amazing cuts! I recommend if you are going for a haircut, color, or anything, you may want to consider Holiday Hair!”

“Don't forget to visit the Dollar Galaxy inside the mall. Lots of good deals to find. Shop Rite is also there and, of course, JCPenny's. And remember to check Bath and Body works. If you're hungry the Pizza in the food court is delicious! Or Auntie Anne's Pretzels!”

“This area of shops has Giant Food Store, but it also has a bunch of great places to eat and shop! The Chinese food restaurant here has a buffet and really beautiful ? sushi. Feel like a sub? Jersey Mike's is here too.
Red Lobster is off to the right of the line of shops too ♡
Ohhh and Giants gas station too.”

“Good outlet with the main stores, prices equivalent to the NJ outlet. The downside is that it is not in a closed, heated environment, like NJ. The transition between stores is very uncomfortable on a winter day, with low temperatures.”

“Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Liquor Store, Dominos, Subway, and a Weis here. Every store is pretty nice. Everything is easily accessible and clean, decent place to do some grocery shopping or grab a quick bite.Every Store here is pretty clean with a decent selection and nice staff. Liquor Store is a bit small and the Family Dollar feels a bit worn down but nothing really wrong with either of them. If you're doing some grocery shopping give the Family Dollar a quick look, they have some stuff that the Weis has but much cheaper such as canned goods.Weis is nice but their prices are a bit all over the place on some stuff. Still has great fresh food there, and honestly their chicken is always amazing.Dollar Tree is very clean and has a lot of little essentials and trinkets. OK candle selection, and for $1.25 a piece you can load up.Also home to a relic of a bygone age. There's a 48 Hour rental sign still hanging above the old store, never removed, just tattered and worn. Also Public Transit to and from here that stops just outside the Dollar Tree. Lanta Bus runs between Wind Gap and Roseto, hits Bangor and Pen Argyl in between. Infrequent but it's better than nothing if you need it.”

“It's always amazing to discover history that the local folks never knew about. The Historic Castle Inn is a treasure for Monroe County and Delaware Water Gap. It's the only existing remnant of a time, when the east coast ROARED. . . the 1920's . . . when middle-class folks from Philadelphia and New York would take the train to 'summer' along the Delaware River (in lieu of shore points).

Be aware the hour-long walking tour is only available Friday-Sunday at 2:00 P.M., Scott does a MAGNIFICENT job of transporting you back to the heydays of this beautiful structure.

Many others have provided detailed reviews of the '3 lives' this historic inn has hosted. We suffice it to say, if you are a 'local' or 'summer resident', take the short drive and learn of the cultural contributions the inn's owners have given Monroe County and Delaware Water Gap. Go . . . enjoy an afternoon day trip . . . you will be surprised at the history!”

“Primos, Khans, Big Lots, Advance Auto, Rent A Center, and Goodwill are pretty much it. CVS, OTB, Subway, and many other businesses are gone. There is plenty of parking for sure. Primos has good food, and if you know about beef patties with coco bread, they have it. Being from NY, I was pleased to find this as no one in PA has it. Khans is a good place to eat as well. Just stand there to watch them cook your food to make sure they don't mix other diner's food into yours.”

“It's not as big so I find it easier to navigate. There's indoor outdoor with new and yard sale items. There's food trucks and a pickle store. Bathroom available and plenty of parking. Nice vendors reasonably priced.”
