I am thankful for this store and the staff, always a nice deal and my price always fits my budget., my personal salon Carmen did my hair now for 18 years and I wouldn’t trade her for anything. I love to shop with Penney’s and enjoy my store coupons always. I hope it always stays this way.

PA Stroudsburg J Penny, one dressing room with 2 regular and one handicapped room. For all sexes. Looks like a bomb dropped in it and expect a long wait to try on clothes. Back to the catalog days would be better for them.

Im not feeling the new african american jewelry lady. She has no manners. I said hi and hello to her twice and she didnt even greet me. How rude! I go here all the time so she is new and needs to learn manners instead of staring at people. If someone says hi you say hi back.

The only reason I’m not giving one star to this location is because of the actual cashier who helped my husband and I that day. She was super nice and friendly and helped us figure out if our items were on sale.
But there was an older woman employee who was definitely rude.
There was a dressing room that was apparently closed off but there were no signs or anything indicating that no one should go in. I waited outside while my husband tried the clothes on he wanted, and this older woman comes marching up to the door repeating “Oh no no no no no”. She walked into the dressing room, rudely told my husband he wasn’t allowed in there because it was closed and shut the door. It would have been fine if she would have just told us it was closed, really it would have. But instead of being polite, and possibly thinking we didn’t know that, she was demanding and rude.
Then, as we were walking to go find a check out spot, she asked if we needed help. We were good but she kept yelling as we walked away, asking to help us. We clearly didn’t because we weren’t even going in her direction at that point but she just kept shouting at us if we needed help.

Just a shout out for the hair salon. The other day I went into the store to return something and impulsively decided to get a haircut/style, since they weren't busy, and no appointment was necessary. Colleen was excellent and gave me a great cut! My first time there, but I'll definitely return. ?
