I dont generally think of Zimmermans Ace for hardware needs. They are in a very competitive market with many similar companies. Their prices are not really competitive either.
They do have a well-rounded generic lineup of tools, hardware, and a rental center. The quality of products aren't much different than what you'd fine HD and lowes. And their selection isn't ad vaste.
Their environment is warm and clean, people are nice and helpful. You may not find that at the bigger box stores.

The staff at Zimmerman hardware in Strasburg are super friendly and helpful. They had exactly what I needed at a great price! Definitely recommend shopping there!

Friendly staff, but the store was not stocked. I was only able to buy 3 gallons of paint, and then they ran out. They do not carry 5 gallon buckets of paint. Since I was only in town for a week, I couldn't wait until next week for them to restock.

What a terrific store. Old fashioned service you just don’t get these days. The gentleman who waited on me told me about the store and his career going back to Sunbeam bread in Connecticut. We got what we came in for, but far better than that, It was a wonderful experience I will always remember.
