“I live in NYC and bring my pup to Neffsville when I come to visit my family. I like the groomers as well as the vet side. The staff is so friendly even though Bogey can be feisty. The vets answer all my questions in terms I can understand. The vet techs and staff at the desks are also helpful and kind. Seems like a good place to work and that reflects in their service towards owners. Bogey comes here for check ups/vaccines, dental visits, ACL surgery.
I also love the bow ties someone local makes and they sell. I almost always end up buying one each time I’m in .”
“This was our first time visit to this vca hospital. We rescued a shelter dog and naturally she was a bit nervous. But from the front desk, to the assistants to Dr. Jon, everyone was very nice and sadie, our dog was great. I have no problem returning here this week for her influenza vaccine and all other visits!”
“What can I say except I’m SO excited Dr. shau is back. The best in vet care in the area is my experience. GREAT PRICES and they care about your pets. The girls treated us like family. So nice there. And my Dunkin doodle was treated very well. I highly recommend RRPCC to anyone looking for a wonderful Vet. What a great group of people. ❤️✅???? ?❣️❣️❣️”

2497 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster“Love Smoketown Veterinarian! Dr. O’Neill and Dr. Russo are two of the best Vetranarians around. I haven’t met a doctor there that wasn’t excellent. They are so good to all of our rambunctious patients puppies/dogs. They take time to listen and really care for our pets. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a reputable veterinarian.”

2611 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street“Dr Young and his team at Animal Hospital of Willow Street have cared for my animals for over a decade, and I am so grateful for the time, attention, and kindness they have showed me and my fur-family. They have provided medical support to my four dogs and two cats, as well as grooming services at every stage of life- and have done so with professionalism, humor, and compassion. Even my more reactive dog feels comfortable with Dr Young and Dr Winning, and adores her groomer. I highly recommend this vet, and really can't say enough good things about them!”

320 Beaver Valley Pike, Willow Street“Dr Arnold and the rest of the team are phenomenal. Dr Arnold is the only veterinarian thus far that actually cared about my dog and didn't treat me as if I were crazy. a "mother" just knows when something's wrong with her "baby" and other vets kept telling me it was my fault. Dr Arnold however did testing on my dog and got to the bottom of the problem, even called me after hours one night to make sure that I got the answers I so desperately needed. she got me meds for my dog and helped her get back on track and she finally was able to not have insufferable Incontinence. I will forever be thankful for dr arnold and all my pets will see her. she is nonjudgemental , full of knowledge, will take everything you say into consideration and give you her best advice on what the plan should be. She won't make you feel guilty if you can't do something right then and there for financial reasons like other vets I've experienced. Thank you Dr Arnold for always being the best”
“We love Dr. Harris and the entire staff at NHVH so much that we drive 30 minutes each way just to go there. Our dogs are our children and the folks at NHVH treat them (and us) as such - with the utmost care and respect and love. I can’t recommend them enough!”

Lancaster“I have 2 unsocialized feral cats. Somehow Dr. Daub is able to come in to my house and gently humanely catch them, evaluate them and know what to do. She is so so competent. So wise. I am so lucky to have her as my vet!”

1833 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster“We have been treating our pets for a few years at Lincoln Highway and have had such wonderful experiences. Even after all these years they still go above and beyond to make your pets feel comfortable . This also makes you the owner feel comfortable as an owner with a more reactive dog.We have a social Bernedoodle and a not so social German Shepherd who is often not receptive to new people and will growl and bark. I typically would muzzle her at the vet just to be safe even though she has never harmed anyone in the past.Today I told the staff if they felt more comfortable we could use a muzzle. They declined and instead took the time to make my pup feel more comfortable. Christal came in first and was on the floor slowly getting our Shepard to warm up to her and did not give up when she shied away.Eventually she even got a little lick on her hand. This prepared my pup for both Dr.Lewis and Christal to come in and give her the shots she needed. They were both able to hold her and give her love and support she needed to make it more comfortable for her during her shots! This would not have happened without them going above and beyond. We appreciate the wonderful team at this facility and are so lucky our pets can be cared for here.”
“The best vet I have ever had for my fur children. No one else in the past 6 years has believed me or spent so much time and care on my cat. They are all so helpful and caring. I cannot recommend the Meteo Pet Vet more.”

1700 Fruitville Pike STE K, Lancaster“The wellness plans are great! To know your fur child is fully covered for vaccines, boosters and visits for a reasonable monthly fee is worth it! Doctors and staff are awesome but we have our favorite. Dr. Polito won me over when my dog needed medicine. It was expensive and though I'd have gladly paid it there was no way to be sure we could get her to ingest it as she's so tiny and has had problems swallowing pills in the past. Dr. gave us a much cheaper and honestly much healthier alternative that we could get in liquid form from GNC. She gave us a few tiny syringes and a dosage amount...it was literally like 3 drops, shes that small. $12 and it worked! They truly care about your animals as if they are their own and want them to be well, not just sell you on unnecessary drugs. Was another time they recommended a drug. I forget what it was but its how we discovered she couldnt swallow pills. I tried everything I could think of to get her to take it to no avail. Doc was honest and told me that while it was recommended, it was really only necessary in certain parts of the country and that my dog was probably safe without it. I recommend Bandield wellness plans to everyone I know with a fur child! Several have taken me up on it and they are also very happy with the staff, service and price! Thank you Banfield for taking such good care of our babies! It's been almost 12 years and we couldn't be happier! ?
Edit to add....14 years now and still very happy with Banfield! Dr. Polito has been seeing my kids since they were babies and she is truly amazing. So thankful for her and the rest of the staff! Called today to schedule appointments for all 3 kids and Samantha heard my dogs name and described her asking if that was her! She remembered her and said they all love her and can't wait to see her at her appointment. They truly treat my pets like family and for that i am so grateful!”
“This review is based solely on grooming. We have two small dogs, so Hailey does our grooming. She always does an amazing job on our Dorkie and mini Labradoodle. She's booked out for weeks, for good reason. Highly, highly recommended.”
“I didn't have a great experience with VCA West Shore Animal Hospital (and neither did my friends and neighbors), so I was reluctant to go to another VCA. However, I had no choice as it was a last minute appointment. My cat was experiencing some vomiting and I was at a loss. Now, I see another reviewer attempted to slander Dr. Leann Murphy, which is absolutely ridiculous. And essentially their complaint was about the bill. Newsflash, friend, pets can be expensive. Perhaps consider fish if you don't want to spend for the care of a mammal. My experience with Dr. Murphy was excellent. She did everything she could to exam my anxiously distressed cat before making a careful suggestion to place him under anesthesia so she could closely exam him. The medication she prescribed cleared his vomiting and she said it was due to stress (added another cat to the household). I'm a overly cautious and anxious pet owner, so I had numerous after appointment questions. Guess what? Dr. Murphy always returns my calls. Where most veterinarians would tell you "bring them back in" so they can hit you with another bill, she did not. Friendly staff. Thorough care. The bill was higher than I had anticipated, but that's the fault of the lab (full mark-up blood tests can be expensive), not VCA Smoketown. Yes, I would return to VCA Smoketown Animal Hospital, and yes I would recommend Dr. Leann Murphy.”

2611 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street“I would never consider taking any of my pets anywhere else. Even feral cats if need be. My 12 year old dog Handsome developed an ulcer on his left eye. The vet tried everything they could to save the eye but it kept getting worse. We finally had to remove the eye. While he was recovering from the eye surgery he somehow swallowed a handful of change. We ended up having to have a penny surgically removed from his stomach lining. Then his right eye became infected. I was devastated, I was going to help my loving companion across the rainbow bridge because I didn't think he could have a good life as a blind dog at his advanced age. The vet, sorry I'm not good with names, talked me out of that so we went ahead and had Handsome's second eye removed. A couple of months later Handsome developed a really bad cough. So bad that we took him to the Emergency Pet Hospital in Lancaster. They told us that Handsome has pneumonia and that he had cancer. The wanted to put him to sleep. They put 7 other pets down during the time we were there. I think that's all they do there. I will NEVER take any animal there again ! I told them no and brought Handsome home. The Vets at Animal Hospital at Willow Street saw Handsome as an emergency basis on Monday morning. Handsome did not have pneumonia and Handsome does not have cancer. The other vet wanted to murder my dog for no reason !!! Handsome is now being treated for Congestive Heart Failure, which was the real problem, with medication and is doing just fine. Handsome will be turning 15 years old in a couple of weeks. Through all of this Handsome LOVES all of the staff here. Especially Emily. Handsome gets excited when we tell him he is going to see "his doctors". We take him out of our van when we get there and he walks across the parking lot and right in the door wagging his tail the entire time. Yes, he does very well being blind. It's freaky, sometimes we swear he can still see........ We also have cats we bring here. I had a Feral Cat come in the house. I called to make an appointment but could not catch the cat. I called and apologized the day of the appointment and rescheduled. I had to cancel the second appointment also because I could not catch the super intelligent wild cat. That cat is finally a pet now and I can get her into the pet carrier. The staff was completely understanding about the cancellations and I'll be bringing "Slinky" in real soon to be checked over. I could go on and on and on about how great Animal Hospital of Willow Street is. I recommend them to everyone who asks. Will & Cindy W. & Handsome, Zippy, Zappy and Slinky”
“Very kind and polite staff and doctor. Facility needs updating and maintenance. Odor was a bit overwhelming. Honest diagnosis was appreciated but did not have a solution.”
“Penn Vet is great. Our inside rep, Roy, is an absolute pleasure to work with and has GREATLY helped me on multiple occasions! I would recommend Penn Vet to everyone!”
“We have dealt with this vet for over a year now and it time to provide an accurate review here on Yelp. This review is based upon experience with multiple vets regarding our goat herd. First, for the sake of the consumer, let's clarify the role of this business. They are a farm veterinary practice dealing with farm animals. We have had these vets out to our farm for both routine and emergency visits. Based upon these visits let me address the three most important things about vets, efficacy of treatment, barnside manner and cost. Efficacy of treatment is superior. The vets have always been able to diagnose the problem and provide an effective therapeutic treatment. We have a goat with significant health challenges and they have taken the time to work on figuring out his issues without charging us for unnecessary or questionably effective treatments. As far as barnside manner, I am very impressed with these vets. During a castration, the doc took plenty of time titrating anesthesia. He didn't want to overdrive the anesthesia but he was very cognizant of making sure the goat was properly sedated and comfortable. He didn't rush into it. He took his time and made sure the animal was safely and humanely prepped for surgery. On a number of occasions, I have watched the vet adjust themselves into uncomfortable or difficult positions to examine or treat the animal so as to keep the animal comfortable. They don't force the animal into a painful position in order to make their life easier or simpler. They have all proven to be compassionate and caring providers. Lastly, let's discuss cost. I have had three emergency visits with treatment, and all of them have cost me under $300. Their price point on services rendered is well within industry norms. Their prices are very reasonable. We are very happy with this veterinary practice and they get a five star review from me.”

2555 Lititz Pike, Lancaster“So grateful, still(!), for the Neffsville staff and the kind, gentle way they care for my pets. This morning when I called at 8:00, they had an appointment at 10:10 to see my sick dog. The staff was so nice to me and my boy. No guilt, just good care. Knowing he had an annual check-up next week, they tried to fit that in as well. And they offered me tips on how to save money for his medicine. Dr Rosenbaum was wonderful with him as was the vet tech (I'm sorry, I forgot her name), and the front office staff. Thanks everyone!”
“THE best vets around... super caring, attentive, and no price gouging. They know me, my family, and pets and it shows. They fit me in when I have an issue!! Love them!!”
