“Years ago, before Google reviews were a thing I had differential work done here. I was happy with the work, the timeliness and how the issue was explained to me. I was back again recently. This time the issue was a transmission on a 6 year old GM pickup truck. The woman at the front desk was very knowledgeable and able to answer questions. She explained how they would overhaul the transmission and upgrade many components from what GM used when they originally built it. The price seemed reasonable. It’s very rare these days to have someone at any front desk that knows anything…..let alone any technical stuff. My conversation with her gave me insight into their 4.9 rating.”

“My truck badly overheated far from home. I pulled over at this little lot by the river. First off, there is a great little ice cream and burger stand, so I got to enjoy a waffle cone while investigating my engine problem. Without any options, I walked next door to Dorsey's for some guidance. Even though he was super busy, he took the time to look over it with me and we narrowed the problem to a stuck thermostat. I asked permission to borrow a couple tools so I could patch it up myself and get home safe. He offered me everything I needed to get it done - tools, supplies, and a space to work. He was super friendly and hospitable. If I were local to the area, he would be my go-to mechanic for sure. I highly recommend this honest and humble shop to anyone.
The ice cream within walking distance makes it even better.”
