I visited Woodcrest back in April to look at a potential new-to-me car. Although I did not end up purchasing that particular car or any car from this dealer, I had a really pleasant experience scheduling the initial test drive and during/after the test drive. At the time I think I spoke with an Anthony (?), he was awesome to work with and seemed very honest!

I purchased a 2018 L5P Duramax from them on Saturday, July 13th. I drove the truck home and parked it on a slight incline like I park every other vehicle I own. The truck sits overnight and I go start it the next morning on Sunday, July 14th, truck starts and has no oil pressure for the first 10 seconds of running, low oil pressure light comes on, truck finally builds pressure. The dealer isn’t open on Sunday so I can’t contact them. After the truck sits overnight Sunday, I start it and take a video Monday morning. Once again, the truck has no oil pressure for the first 10 seconds of running after sitting overnight. I send the videos to Anthony and even talk to him on the phone about it. He suggests parking it on a flatter surface and see if it still does it. I change the oil and filter hoping it was a drain back issue, and try again Tuesday morning on a flatter with no luck and it does the same thing. I discussed with Anthony that I’ve seen other people having this issue and it’s an oil pump relief valve issue, and I shouldn’t have this issue the day after bringing the truck home. He tells me there diesel technician at the shop they use is on vacation and he can’t give me any info until he gets back the following week. Well, 2 weeks later I get zero updates, I have to bug him for any kind of responses… I finally get told to try switching to conventional oil instead of synthetic. Same weight and everything… Clearly that isn’t going to change anything. So I guess from here on out I will have to park my truck completely downhill so the oil pump doesn’t lose prime and starve the motor of oil on every cold start because that’s the only time it won’t do it. Beware!
Edit*** I would like to add that I’m 4 hours from the dealership and can’t just drop in at any time, but mentioned that I could bring the truck to them.

The amount of options on 4wheel drive diesel trucks is simply amazing. Not to mention the quality of vehicles they carry. I bought a like new 2016 Chevrolet 3500 series truck. Anthony made the purchase a pleasure with great service and the speed at which it was accomplished. If you are looking for a pre owned diesel truck at an awesome price this is the place !!!!

Anthony is a great salesman!! It was an easy process through him and pain free! He also helped to make sure small minor details were fixed on my suburban, not really sure how people can give this place negative reviews!

Great purchasing experience overall, far better than their local competitors. The salesman, Anthony, provides transparency and is upfront with all relevant information. No pressure, games, or annoying sales tactics only simple and fair negotiations. Prices are at baseline reasonable, and readily beat nearby franchise lots. A word on negative reviews; if you purchase a three legged pig it will drive accordingly.

A family member of mine bought a 2017 2500 truck from here. It has brought nothing but trouble after only 2500 miles of driving, and they are not willing to work with him. They are a terrible company and place to buy anything from. I would recommend buying down the road from them….or any where else for that matter. If you like having problems and not having a vehicle that runs right from the time you pull off the lot, then I would buy from this place. Other than that I would stick to a more stand up company than these people.

I bought a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7L with 103k miles on it for 24.5k little did I know I was buying lemon. Anthony was great to work with until I drove the truck 2,500 miles and the camshaft needed to be replaced. $4,200 later and all that was offered was discounted parts because I haggled on the price due to the a/c not working in the truck.Another 2,500 miles goes by after getting the camshaft fixed and the truck starts violently shaking, I take the truck to a garage and they run tests and tell me that I need a new engine due to the compression tests they took and the white and some times blue smoke clouding out of the muffler which is of course throwing a catalytic converter code. I absolutely will not and cannot ever let a loved one of mine buy a vehicle from Woodcrest Motors, go anywhere but there. After looking into car fax they bought the truck for 10k and sold it to me and now I owe 22k on their dishonest piece of junk. After buying the truck I was told by my buddy to take it back asap because all they do at woodcrest motors is Frankenstein trucks back together using other wrecked trucks. Yes this all probably happens behind the giant white privacy fence overflowing with junk car and truck parts outside.
