Ways is my go-to for produce in the State College area, and has been so for decades. They no longer sell at the Boalsburg Farm Market on Tuesdays, but they have their produce and sandwiches at their downtown store 6 days a week. Thumbs up! (Consistently the best cider!)

Calder Way is like restaurant alley for us when we visit our son. Lots of good eating places along this street running parallel to College Ave. Way Fruit Farm Cafe doesn't have a storefront that jumps out at you b/c the entrance is up one flight and the stairs are on the side, and then it is not clear whether to go up the stairs or down. But, find it and go get a FRESH sandwich, fruit, veggies, and explore all the funky items on the shelf. If you are a fan of classic and hard to find flavored sodas (I am not particularly but others might be) they have curated quite an assortment of these. Anywho, enjoy this cool spot with great food!

My boyfriend and I had the absolute best day here yesterday! Picked 1/2 bushel of gorgeous and delicious strawberries (total was about $20) from the Farm's 4 plentiful fields. We went inside for a meal afterward and both had delicious sandwiches! We grabbed some homemade jam from the store and had a long chat with the primary farmer. Thank you for a wonderful day- we'll be back soon :)

Wonderful place with delicious fresh food and lots of extras. We've ordered multiple group working lunches -- every order was neatly packed with individual names, ready on time, and super organized! So happy you are here in State College :)
