My wife and I went in for vision exams the other week. We were very happy with our experience. The exam is very reasonably priced, and the staff that we interacted with were all friendly and professional. I would certainly come back.

It took me more than a year to choose glasses. I walked into Vision Works this evening, and within 30 minutes had beautiful glasses and a tremendous customer service experience.It was actually the customer service that made the experience tremendous.Austin was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, NA, had a very good sense of style. I am so pleased that I’ll go back for sunglasses and my husband is going back tomorrow to buy glasses —from Austin.Their selection is common. The service was truly uncommon!

Tried to overcharge me for 2 children’s frames. When I went to Walmart I had the same frame and features (polycarbonate lens). I’m glad that I checked Walmart vision center b4 buying from them cause it saved me $214 even with adding more feature (anti glare). The bottom line is that both the Visioworks and insurance companies are scammers which lead to us eventually pay out of our pockets when we shouldn’t. The insurance company allowance for the glasses $200 and pay VW less than that but the hypocritically claimed that our allowance $200.

I like this place. I need to check out their selection. Everything was so easy from booking, to inputting my insurance info, and finally appointment time. Felt sleek when all my signatures went onto a tablet. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Sometimes I feel unwelcome in public places because I'm a fat dork, but these fine people weren't disgusted or repulsed by me. I showed up on time for my appointment and was seen right away.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and quick! Dr. Mckelvey was very fast, knowledgeable and friendly! If I am ever in a bind again and in need of eye care quickly, this will be my place to go!

Don’t be fooled by their advertising! Always offering deals, but in the fine print the desks are only for people who don’t use their insurance. Otherwise, their eyeglasses choices are mediocre. No fun florals etc unless you buy kids frames which are very small and can’t accommodate bifocal vision. Just metal, black, a few blues and like one red. Such a large chain, you’d think they would have non traditional colors.

Since March I have been trying to simply get a pair of glasses I can actually see out of with no luck. I had to send my glasses back twice, once because the prescription was wrong and the second time because the frames did not accommodate for my pantascopic tilt that is necessary. I then went back to my regular optician there (I was scheduled with someone else the first time because of automated scheduling) and by all means she is terrific- tried her best to help and this review has nothing against her- it has to do with how I was treated once I picked my glasses up for the third time... the front end of this location is horrible. I have never felt so humiliated just trying to get my glasses to fit correctly. I took the third pair back and was told they can not help me - I needed to go to another local optician because they don't have an in house lab... the gentleman said he tells all of his patients this... but I have already paid for two eye exams and two frames and lenses from this location... Seriously? So I took their advice and consulted another lab elsewhere- where my suspicions were confirmed. The lenses were cut completely backwards and the alignment of the transitional lens were not correct. At this point I simply want a refund for the time and effort I have put into simply getting a pair of glasses I can see from. Ridiculous does not even begin to explain it. I am a patient person but the way I was treated was -4 stars at best. Never again...

Was informed that now VSP and visionworks are the same company. There’s no incentive for them to provide you with good glasses or service. So if you have VSP go somewhere else.

tl;dr they did not notify me when my glasses and contact lenses were ready, and I had to ask them for a complimentary cleaning cloth.When I dropped by for my eye exam and updated my prescriptions, I was asked for my phone number and e-mail so they could contact me when my eyeglasses and contact lenses were ready. 'Expect 10 days or up to 2 weeks before they're ready.'Well, I waited exactly 3 weeks before reaching out to them, and it turned out my stuff was already there for me to pick them up. No notification texts, but there were a few "friendly tips" e-mails I received from Visionworks in the meantime. Oh well.I get there, and they were dealing with 2 other customers. When they have a free moment and ask how they can help me, I give my name and say I'm here for my glasses and contacts. One of them finds my pairs of glasses and I try them on. No problems, but neither of the eyeglasses cases had a cleaning cloth in them, and I had to ask them if I could have my contact lenses as well.From my previous eye exam experience with them, I get the feeling they are a very high-traffic business, and that some of their employees can overlook some basic courtesies as a result.

Came in for a second and they were able to help me out as soon as i walked in. I just needed my glasses adjusted but Shana was very nice and helped me out quickly which I appreciated. 10/10 vision works experience

Overcharged me, didn't apply the buy 1 get 1 free discount posted on the wall. Glasses came late, guy that ran register was clueless. and the doctor didnt seem to care. Won't be back
