I was in town for business and stayed here for 2 nights. I stay at a lot of hotels because of work, and my stay here was one of the best I've ever had. The room was very clean, and the staff was exceptional. A special shout out to Rory, and Roslynn. I can't say enough about the sincerity and kindness they both displayed during my stay. They made me feel like family and always greeted me with a huge smile. If their boss is reading this, clone Rory and Roslynn because your staff should meet their standards of excellence and never anything less. I'll be choosing this hotel everytime I'm in the state college area. Thank you so much Rory and Roslynn, you two are truly beautiful individuals, and you deserve the very best recognition.

Amazing hotel! I stayed for 2 nights, and i was a little resistant to staying when I saw the exterior, but the second I walked in, I changed right up! The staff greeted me with a smile, and I was in my room within 5 minutes! The room was amazingly clean, everything was nice and organized, and the beds were so comfortable! I had a better sleep here than I do at home! I left and I realized I lost Invisalign trays, but when I called they actually found them! I left them in a tissue, and sitting on a white blanket. The housekeeping team found them, and was able to send them back to me quickly! I will recommend this to everyone who asks for a place to stay in state college, and if I’m taking another trip to state college, I will 100% return!Rooms: Clean rooms, very comfortable bedding, and a organized layout.Nearby activities: Very close to penn state, and is central for anything related to the nittany lions! A good football game, then a good nights rest here!Noteworthy details: Amazing desk staff! They found lost Invisalign that were in a tissue! They always greet people who walk by, and have a smile!

Only stayed over night but overall clean, friendly, and breakfast was really good. Worker at front desk was kind and friendlyRooms: Clean and well kept. AC was super cold how I like itFood & drinks: Breakfast was good variety. I do a high protein diet and the chooses were awesome.

My heart went out to the person running the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful. On April 5th we had to check our earlier than expected. I shared this with her at 2:30 that day. She told me they charge for 1/2 day up til 2:00, so would have to check with her manager. I went to room, got everything collected, then went back to the desk (noticing housekeeping was still working our floor). She was very apologetic and said her manager told her they cannot do a half day because the room could not be sold since it was so late. As I said to her, there is no way that is true. I thought it was very poor of the manager to not support a Hilton Honors member with a reasonable request, but then to ask the front desk manager to do the hard work - with a poor rationale - was awful management. I definitely will not be staying there again, and hope the manager receives better training.

The rooms are very small, but clean and reasonably nice (it's a Hampton Inn...). Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare. But the staff is nice. Be careful you don't reserve the single queen, it's even smaller!

Cannot say enough good things about this this Hamton Inn. The rooms were clean the service was outstanding. Was at PSU for THON weekend and completely exhausted from a very long day at THON. Got to the hotel early for a brief rest before going back to the BJC. They were the most accommodating and got us an early check-in. Also, we had to get out the next day early and had coffee in the lobby at 5am and breakfast on a weekend at 6AM THANKS. well done. Super easy being so close to the BJC.

Stay away from this hotel. Their room is full of bugs and give any importance if you complain. I found bugs coming out from my underpants after my complaint and requesting them of bug spray my room. They did not do any bug spray TO ENSURE WE ARE BUG FREE.One notable mention, tgey didn’t even gave us clean towels when I asked them to them in the morning 7AM but did took care right away when we came back 5PMLast but not the least, the front desk and front desk manager is of no help

Due to traveling with a large dog, I was grateful that the receptionist assigned us to a room on the ground floor. What I found unique was the room did not have an actual clothes closet, but instead an area behind the curtain to hang clothes. Also, I was thankful that the bathroom had a nightlight. As an individual who sixty-four years old, I do have to get up at night to use the bathroom; so, seeing light gave me direction without having to turn on the light on the nightstand. The breakfast was very good; ie, both in selection and taste.Rooms: Very clean!
