40 dollars for a shirt, pants and jacket. They charge you for the liner. They took it off the jacket and didn't have the decency to put it back on the jacket

Way to expensive and awful service. Better places around that you can go too for cheaper and that do a better job and get stains out of your clothes...

The employees are absolutely horrendous. Alec the gentleman who helped me before he did I heard him bad mouthing the company to another employee, also stating that he doesnt care to work there and they don't pay him enough to stay longer and work. He was very rude when he checked in my items. Not to mention how expensive it is.

Honestly, I used to love this business, I even got my wedding dress tailored there! But can't express how disappointed I was by the recent service. I brought in a pair of jeans to ask about alteration options, and even said I was willing to get creative with stitching options. The company who made the jeans told me there should be options, but I was immediately told that would never be an option and turned away. I could hear the tailor basically yelling and the girl working the front desk (who was very nice) when I asked her to go back and ask a second question. I won't be back for any reason, and will have go somewhere else for this.

Extremely, extremely expensive. There are few options in town and they know it. Service is fine. Work quality is ok. Expect to pay $$$ for anything extra. They crack buttons more often than I have experienced in the past, and they never sew in a replacement.

Terrible company, terrible work ethic, too many other, more affordable options all over town.

I sent them some shirts to clean, the one came back with a huge tear, so bad that I would have never sent the shirt, I would have just thrown it away if I had torn it that badly. However, they returned it with a tag that read "defective conditioning before cleaning." I called them and they argued with me that it was a mistake I had made and I gave it to them in that condition.

DO NOT get anything tailored here. Dry cleaning is expensive but acceptable. The tailoring, though, is a joke. I gave them 5 identical shirts to tailor and they all came back 5 VERY different shapes and sizes. Some look like they weren't touched and one is so small it doesn't fit - the shirt is ruined. Same shirts, same day of measurements, crap tailoring. Pants were a similar story. Hundreds of dollars wasted in tailoring.

Quick and clean. Great job on Christmas red wool jacket, hand stitched with white wool embroidery my daughter Scotia, had presented me with years ago

Brought in my comforter to be dry cleaned due to a small spot. They told me it would be done in a week, and then on the day I was supposed to pick up, called me and told me it wouldn't be available until the following week. I was suspicious of this, and as annoying as it is, I hoped that they had just forgotten to clean it. I finally picked it up today after TWO WEEKS, and realized there were small seams all over, as if they ripped it and had to mend the tears! To add insult to injury, they charged me the full price to destroy my expensive comforter. Absolutely appalled by the awful service. I will never give this sad excuse for a dry cleaner my business again, and you shouldn't either.

They ruined ALL of my clothes. Please do not support this awful local business. They are rude and disrespectful and are an embarrassment to this industry.

Just recently moved to state college and wanted to have my usual clothes dry cleaned. In total it was a couple pairs of pants, 5-6 dress shirts, and a couple of sweaters. I dropped off on Thursday and was told it would be ready by Monday. I am typically used to next day return, but given I wasn't in a hurry I didn't think that much about it. Upon going to pick up my clothes I was told the total was $86. I almost thought that he was joking when he told me the price. I have NEVER paid this much from dry-cleaning. I came here from DC and I get the same amount of stuff dry cleaned each week. My total there runs between $19-24 (its a flat rate of $1.98 per piece). If you decide to use Balfurd be sure to ask the price up front or be prepared for a shock. I now just drive every two weeks to DC and have my clothes done same day. Even with the cost of the dry cleaning and a tank of gas it is still cheaper than Balfurd

I love this place. They stop by my house to pick up and drop off my clothes whenever I need their services. I recently sent them a white down coat that was embarassingly dirty after not being laundered all winter. They sent it back looking brand new!!

Dry cleaned my wedding dress even though the tag stated to wet clean, which bleached the ivory dress to white in splotches then blamed the fabric for the color loss but they did not follow the directions on the tag.

Good consistent dry cleaner. Prices are a little expensive (but so are most things in State College) but worth it-Love that they use the GreenEarth chemical free cleaning! I gladly pay more for Eco-friendly. They're always timely. Love the email notification I get when items are ready because sometimes they are ready sooner than the expected date/time (this didn't work last time but I think they were having an issue with they're system). They consistently have great service too!
