Funny enough, I went over 45 years of my life without getting a broken windshield and I have literally had three windshield replacements on two different vehicles in the last three years. Every single time I went to Safelite on Baltimore Pike in Springfield and they have always, done an amazing job. They communicate throughout the entire process, you receive text messages with updates. And typically the vehicles are done in about an hour. I have never done the at home service as personally I just feel that they may do a better job in their own shop, but my three experiences at their shop have been great

The most horrible company on the planet! Impossible to speak with a live person! I made an appointment now over a week ago and then got a text an email stating my appointment was cancelled 2 days before the repair date. No phone call, no new date provided and my repair was supposed to happen yesterday! I will never deal with them again! Still have not heard from them!

They do not accept phone calls to speak with a human, you can only contact them online. They replaced our windshield and did not calibrate it, requiring another appointment and trip to their shop. Their website is not user friendly for situations like this, and they need to have an option to speak with a representative.

Horrible experience at this location . I filed a claim with my insurance and schedule a appt with Springfield safelite for a week out . I received 2
Different confirmation texts and then a call the day before to confirm. The day of in the morning I receive a call that the shipment didn’t include a windshield for my 2021 Hyundai Elantra and I would have to wait 7-10 business days . I asked
If they could recommend another location . The person said none of the locations received the shipment and so NO LOCATION in PA would be able to help me . Just seemed hard to believe . What an inconvenience and a waste of time . I ended up spending money elsewhere . Wouldn’t recommend this location their customer service SUCKS !!!

Unfortunately this safelite store is highly unprofessional, I dropped off my car at 9:30 am and planned to pick it up once it was done. I received a call around 12pm stating my car was done. I live in Delaware so it was already a drive as is. I come to pick up my car just for them to let me know that my car was not ready, and there was a mix up with another Camry. I would've appreciated a call noticing this mix up, but I was not given one. Instead I had to wait an extra 2 hours. A phone would be nice next time.

Technician came to my work parking lot after booking through my insurance company and did a great job.
If you have to edit the address, it’s very weird on safelite National website. It threatens to give up your appointment slot, even if you edit the address within the same zip code. Even customer service couldn’t override that flaw in their system, so just something to be careful with if you have a tricky address (ie industrial park/work campus)
So I was just able to work it out with the tech over the phone and he had no issue finding me.

So I brought my car to get a chip fixed which is covered when we purchased our car extra protection plan it covers windshield chips and cracks. The chip was size of dime and they went to fill in chip and ended up making it crack about 6 inches and then tell me windshield needs to be replace. Now they say they are not responsible and to call our insurance!!!!! The whole point of purchasing extra protection plan was to not go thru insurance and they’re the reason it needs to be replaced!!!!! Not even there 10 minutes and made it worse won’t take NO accountability what so ever

This Safelite store is great. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the mechanics are professional and timely. I wanted an OEM windshield since my car is under warranty and the windshield has a lot of sensors. Safelite was able to find one for me when the dealership could not. Highly recommend. 5 ?!!

All I wanted to do was speak with someone on the phone and your computer or your automated phone system will not do it. This is absolutely ridiculous

I’ve used this place a couple times over the last 10 years. Service is always great here. It is very busy so walk up service is probably not practical, you need reservations which you can do online. You can have their mobile units come to you too! I highly recommend this business. Thank you for great service. A+++++
