The management in this place is bad. They cannot keep teachers to save their life. Very mismanaged and honestly I wouldn't wanna work here, let alone send my kid here.

Li'l Tykes has been our daycare for the past 7 years. We have had three children come through this school. My older two are now in elementary school and were both ready for kindergarten because of the great preparation that LT provides. My youngest is still at LT for another 18 months until K. Through the pandemic they have been responsive, transparent and all together supportive of my families needs. I would definitely recommend! Courtney is an amazing leader for this team of hard working teachers. The fact that many of her staff stay for years and years is a testament to the great management of Li'l Tykes.

Our son graduated today from preschool after spending three years with Li'l Tykes. The amazing people that work here have helped our son learn and grow so much over these years. The uncertainty of this past year was handled with such grace that allowed him to stay on track, and have some normalcy. While we unfortunately do not have anymore of our children to continue to send here to continue the daily relationships with the teachers and staff, we cannot recommend Li'l Tykes enough to any family looking for the right place for there young children. Every staff and teacher truly cares about what is best for your child and helping them develop into amazing little people!

Had an interview there. Was well qualified. But when I noticed some discrepancies on how preschool teachers were cheating and treating the students on behalf of simple things like helping them and sarcastic remarks. How the teachers were talking to these kids and the preschool classroom. How the demeanor was these teachers are mean. Never would I ever bless this company with working there I've been in this field for 15 years and the things I saw in the first 10 minutes of having an interview was appalled. Brought it up to the owner clearly nothing was done I wish you all the best I would never bring my kids there. Need me I'll give you time and dates for video to be checked if they have videos to watch how child was gripped up to tell them to move or how a child will sarcastically talk to when the child acts can I have help showing how to make a letter e in sign language. Get some training the whole staff.

We moved to the area and were frantically searching for the right school for my 1.5 year old. These people are amazing!! So patient, kind, and so many activities. My daughter is learning so much and I think she likes school more than home haha.

Li'l Tykes is a great place to send your children for daycare. We started here after we moved to PA with a 3 yo and a newborn. They aren't as institutional as a chain would be, but the staff is very caring and great with the kids, and the office is very professional. My daughter is in Kindergarten now and she's thriving because of the pre-K education there. My son is 3 now and still goes there. Their response to COVID-19 was prompt and professional and their new guidelines made me very comfortable sending him back as soon as they opened. He loves the teachers and his friends there, and I'll be keeping him there until he moves up to Kindergarten.

We've been part of the Li'l Tykes family for three years now, with one graduate and one infant. We couldn't be happier with the service we get at the center. Both kids absolutely love their teachers, and we are regularly amazed at the new knowledge they come home with.

My son is currently going to Li’l Tykes. He is almost 2, and started when he was 12 weeks old. All of the staff are awesome. They know all the kids’ names whether they are their caregivers or not. My son is comfortable with all of them and has to give several hugs before we leave. They do art projects, learn songs, counting, play outside, manners, cleaning up, sharing and interacting with others, even get bunnies to care for in the spring. The price is reasonable, and the hours are great for our schedule. We’re so happy we selected this daycare for our little guy.Editing to add that we sent our son (now 4) back after a few months, following the shutdown. They have great protocols in place that made us more comfortable with sending him back during a very stressful time. We also plan to send our 2nd son in when he’s a little older.

Dawn, the Director of Li'l Tykes had a small exchange with me via-email concerning enrolling my child into one of their programs. She said there were still "a few spots available" and told me she'd set my family and I up for a tour of the facility. Well, almost 3 weeks later, I never heard back from her. Nervous that these spots were no longer available, I called their facility today to inquire again of a visit/my child's potential enrollment. The woman who answered told me Dawn was not available to speak with, asked for my name, phone number, and email address so that she could have Dawn get back to me. Dawn chose to email me with this reply:"I received a message that you called to schedule a tour for your 4 year old for September. I'm sorry this is the first chance i had to respond. Unfortunately the spot that I had in the Pre K room has been registered for.I can still set you up with a tour of the center if you would like and add your information to the wait list."I am terribly dissatisfied and disappointed how someone in this position would handle this situation. If it weren't for my reaching out again, I probably wouldn't have heard back from her. It is evident to me this person has issues with managing their business and should NEVER tell a potential enrollee/parent of an enrollee that there are spots open, just to go and fill them without ever touching base with you again.Happy to share my experience so hopefully no one else has to go through what I did.

Our children have been attending Li'l Tykes for the past five years. I would highly recommend this particular daycare center for anyone in the Springfield area that is in need. The staff is very pleasant and takes care of the children as though they are their own. The director and assistant director are extremely approachable and willing to discuss care concerns as well as behavioral issues. The tuition is very reasonable considering all that is available to the children. Our experience has been five stars with Li'l Tykes!!!

My son attended here from 9/2012 till Pre-K graduation in 6/2017. My wife and I researched quite a few centers in the area before selecting Li'l Tykes. What a great choice we made. From the beginning the staff made us feel welcome, safe, and our child loved. The teachers and aides made the 5 years our son was there a great experience. I would highly recommend Li'l Tykes to anyone who is looking for a all day childcare facility. Hours of operation are awesome, 6:45-6pm M-F. The tuition is reasonable. Lastly the facility is very clean. I urge anyone looking for childcare in Delaware County to put Li'l Tykes at the top of your list.

Li'l Tykes is an amazing family-run facility that offers quality daycare and education in a fantastic learning environment. All of my children have attended (or are still) attending here and we love it! Can't recommend them enough!!

My spouse and I visited this center for a tour and loved everything about the center and we enrolled our child here based on our tour. Unfortunately for us it was all down hill from there. After a short stay at the center we decided to pull our child for several reasons including but not limited to the following:
1. our main reason was because the teachers were completely disinterested in our child at drop off and never greeted us with a hello or even a smile at drop off. This was our first red flag, dropping off your child is hard enough on both the parent and the child and for the teachers to not be warm and embracing towards the child and to not say hello to the parents is completely inexcusable in my book and it made me wonder if they arent warm and embracing at drop off what goes on during the day?????? Similarly, they rarely said good bye to the child or acknowledged the parent at pick up and this was not an isolated incident as several people picked up and dropped off my child and we all had the same experience. the Teachers were often on their cell phones also and not paying attention.
i should also note that on the days the Director would be in or around my childs room everything was different and perfect the teachers were embracing, welcoming, pleasant and attentive but the director was only at this room at the same time as me maybe 2 or 3 times... its a shame because they have staff that know what they are supposed to do but as soon as their supervisor isnt around they dont care.
2. we noticed when a toddler was sick and had a running nose the staff were not cleaning their nose and lips and would just let the mucus run and build up.
3. their daily report notes are a disgrace - they fill out one sheet, then photo copy that sheet and then give that sheet to each child's parent and pass it off as if it is a unique note about your childs day. also the daily sheet is very uninformative, the sheet says nap then they circle yes or no, also similar for diaper changes it reads diaper changed (or something similar) then a yes or no. I am sorry but i want more details, how long did my child nap and at what time? how many times was the diaper changed? did she have a BM or no? this is really basic stuff that is lacking
4. my child came home from lil tykes with diapers full of urine more often than not
5. 1 morning I noticed a child in a highchair with cheerios covering the entire table top portion of the high chair and there was not any teachers paying attention to the child at all or even in close proximately to the child. this was was the moment that i realized i have to pull my child from here. aside from giving a child a portion of food that was total ridiculous seeing that toddler alone sitting in a high chair with zero supervision was it for me.
Bottom line is my expectations were that I was paying professionals to help my toddler learn and grow in a loving, embracing, nurturing and professional environment but I felt let down in every single way from this center.
I struggled to write this as I do not ever want to write anything that could hurt anyone's business but I ultimately felt it was my civic duty to notify other parents of the issues I had here. My intentions was to discuss the issues noted above with the Director after we made our decision to leave but when I called and told her that "unfortunately this center doesnt meet our needs and expectations and we would like to cancel services" her response was ok and that was it. I thought to myself if I was in charge of any business and my customer said my product or services did not meet their needs and expectations I would at minimum ask why and probe to see how I could make my product better, but because the answer was just ok and nothing else I decided to not bother.
