I don't know how many times I've placed an order at this store for items that were listed as in stock only to have my order cancelled because they don't actually have it. I don't know why they have such a problem keeping their inventory updated. Please hire more staff if your employees can't keep up with maintaining your store.

Rarely (if ever) do I post anything negative about any person or establishment. However, this NEEDS to be said. As pretty much the only fabric store around, this place needs to change its game. It takes me (a wasted) 25 minutes to drive to this store. I was there yesterday, and the place is FILTHY, all the departments are in complete disarray, fabrics and other supplies litter the DIRTY floors, shelves are disorganized and stock appears low on many things. It's just a DISASTER in there. Once in awhile, you get an associate who's actually smiling and willing to help you find something in the Gdforsaken wilderness there, but somehow, that's changed. I did see the sign outside stating staffing issues, I can totally see why. Manager, where art thou? Clean the place up, put stuff back where it belongs, please! Trying to run a tailoring/alterations business here -- and you guys are no help whatsoever. I MIGHT give the place ONE MORE chance -- if my review and others who've posted their disappointment motivates management to get this location up to speed. Come on -- crafters and sewists NEED YOU!!

I bought a swing machine. So before I purchase it, I asked for term and conditions. They told me I can return it in 15 days as long as I have receipt. But they were lied. The swing machine I bought it won’t function properly. I tried to return, but they don’t want to take it back. Because of it won’t function. As soon as you open the box. They never ever take it back. Big fat liar. So disappointing.

I bought a singer sewing machine 1 week ago and it didn't work all stages only work 1 stages so I go this stuff to returned and they are told me they are not return policy but I asked the guy if any problem I can return it?he said yes u can but know they don't exchange anything they said call me I'm waiting. This is not fair.

Incredibly disappointed in this store, we showed up at 6:10pm on June 3 and the doors were locked. No one near the door, no sign, nothing online. We drove a long time to get here as well as many others who came up to the store too, and no sign saying they were closing early, we called the store multiple times and they hung up on us everytime. Definitely will not be coming back here. Closing 3 hours early, and nothing to let us know. They’ve wasted many customers’ time today.

Terrible. Online inventory is not current, not a single item was in-stock! Empty store shelves and cashiers are incredibly inattentive. Overcharged by cashier who couldn’t scan coupon from the app properly. Never again!

It almost always has what I'm looking for. If you are looking for high end oil paints go elsewhere, good for fabric, great selection of sewng patterns (McCall's, simplicity, vogue butterick) , good selection of dmc floss.

I was in the Springfield store to return a rotary blade because it was the wrong size. I searched the area that had a few blades but not the correct size. I asked a salesperson Ciara and she was so very helpful. She researched to see which blade would fit as my cutter was no longer carried in the store. She found a suitable blade and was absolutely marvelous helping me. She is a great asset to Joanne Fabrics. She is to be commended for her customer service.

Worst Joann store I’ve ever been in. Drive an hour cause of particular yarn they showed in inventory. With plans to spend $300. Store was a disgrace. Boxes everywhere. I started looking for yarn in the boxes. Found some thankfully, but not all, before I got scolded, explained that I drove an hour, was to spend $300 on yarn & asked if someone could help me find what I was looking for. Was flat out told no. I said so you’d rather lose out on $300 sale then have someone help me??? She said yes. What has happened to this world??

This Joann saw me through some of my first sewing projects but tonight an employee asked what I was doing in an unusual tone, when I explained I was putting the fabric she just cut in the container I’m also going to buy so I only have one thing to carry she asked me not to and explained they’ve had a very rampant stealing problem lately. If there isn’t confidence that a customer will hand over the fabric slip at least trust your employees to look inside containers they’re checking out. I clumsily and shamefully gathered all the items I was buying in my arms and immediately walked away. The staff is usually very kind and I had never seen her before but it felt bad to shop there.

I made a special trip yesterday to buy Valentine themed crafts for my grandchildren. I was shocked to discover how dirty the store was. Even the escalator leading into the store was gross. The shelves were empty and merchandise strewn all over. Don’t think I’ll be returning to Joanne’s anytime soon.

Tonight I went to Joann Fabrics in Springfield, PA, to buy buckram edging, a product used to stiffen the tops of draperies and provide enough body to hold drapery pins so the drapery fabric doesn’t tear. Although the store sells drapery fabric, they didn’t have anything to stiffen the top edge of a drapery. Nothing. In fact, throughout the store, many shelves were vacant; items were haphazardly placed on shelves. It reminded me of Walmart during the pandemic.BOTTOM LINE: If you’re serious about your time and effort and especially about your sewing, go elsewhere.

I usually give reviews of at least three stars. But, this store needs a major cleaning and reorganization of products. The store has dirt and dust on the floors and escalator. The inventory is very disorganized.
