Took my wife there for a relaxing afternoon of painting pottery. Lots of pottery choices, lots of colors, helpful and accommodating staff. A really mixed bag of "artists" there too, from preschoolers to retired seniors. They have other activities besides pottery painting, but since I'm no Picasso, I stuck with something more my skill level.

Over the weekend, we visited this Pottery Studio for the first time considering the fact that we drive by it at least three times a week. We brought our family here to celebrate a birthday party 4 my daughter's classmate. upon arrival there's just some simple rules about children that running around in the Open studio space and the party is self was about 2 hours in total. What I liked about the space in general was that there seemed to be some open studio if you want to just bring your child in to create your own ceramic or to paint one that is pre-made. the party host explained to the parents and children that my children would be working on pre-made ceramics which they could paint and pick up in about a week when they are ready from being baked in the kiln. The kids had a great time just painting their ceramics and eating lots of birthday cake which had them bouncing off the walls of it which had them bouncing off the walls a little. we had a private room but our door was open which I know was allowed for the people in the Open studio which is really quiet and calm. I definitely closed the door to the private party so that people could enjoy some quiet creative time with their children enjoy some quiet creative time with their children lol I will definitely be bringing my daughter back here for an Open studio visit because I personally want her to learn how to mold clay and this is the perfect place especially because it's nearby.
