“Friday evening; I was planning my backpacking meals for my upcoming trip realizing I needed 'snack' size ziplock baggies! I called the Springdale store, ring several times, & I hung up knowing they are a busy store! Minutes later, they called me apologizing for not getting to the phone on time = GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank YOU Dollar General for GREAT employees!”
“Great local place for the freshest meats, produce and hot food items. I travel from the South Hills and it is always worthwhile. The owners and staff are always friendly and knowledgeable.”
“You won't find another market that matches the rich history, friendliness of owners, and quality of products. The owner Dave went out of his way to give my wife and I a tour of the place and tell us the history of previous owners and stories about Mac Miller. You can really tell he takes pride in taking over the place. It has a very homey feel and we both thoroughly enjoyed our Reubens in the "backyard". There's no doubt I will revisit”
“Was looking for beef brisket (whole). Associate that helped me was very helpful and friendly. Was able to get two briskets I needed. Priced at 4.49 lb. Which is awesome.”
“Wow! About time that got an authentic deli.
Pastrami was off the hook.
First time I found a knish in Pittsburgh after moving here 31 years ago. It was delicious
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
I’m becoming a regular.”
“Don't go there hungry... This is the type of store where you can get out of hand grocery shopping very fast... It's great. Other than the strip district downtown where you pay to park, not here. It's centrally located to the "Monroeville" area. If Italian food is your thing, GO THERE. You won't be disappointed.”
“Good selection, good prices, but often very crowded. They are very efficient at handling the huge crowds and the lines are shorter than they look. Docking a star based on the crowds and union busting stance of the company.”
“The location in Wexford is better organized and stocked but this place has all your Italian food needs. Not much of a vegetable section but this is December. A great place to stop.”
“I love this location it's always well stocked and quick and easy at check out. The only complaint is how the salmon got so small and the price went up for a wimpy piece of it. I know prices suck but should go down because of how small it is.”
“Convenience with a flair is the name of the game at Bryant Street Market. The coolest sandwhiches with the finest meats and toppings have to be their specialty. The store is really clean for a neighborhood deli. Top quality food items are all that is sold at the store. Parking can be a bit of a hassle because of the way the parking lot is set up. When I have turned people on to Bryant Street Market they are quite impressed with the store.”
“Friendly service, my go to place for corned beef sandwich and its the only place I can get mint gingerale. Their individual meals are the best I can eat for 2 days. The staff is also willing to assist me with carrying my bags to ? for me.”
“Great place for Indian foods and many things you may not think about as Indian foods. You can get great prices on things that seem exotic in other stores but are regular items here at great prices.”
“I go there all the time very clean reasonable prices Nice produce meat department etc they even have pleasant young workers when you treat them pleasant as well!”
“Lots of parking, well stocked shelves, always clean, they have self checkout now. I mean it's an Aldi, stuff is cheap and the quality is decent, always a good place!”
“Lots of good deals and great place to shop but be careful. I got a pack of hotdogs and idk what the heck but these taste like crap and we all got sick. Would have gave 5 ⭐ but they have no organization everything is randomly placed”
“Best grocery store in Pittsburgh, support your local co-op! They got the best bulk goods and bulk spices in a 500 mile radius (maybe exaggerating). Prepped meals add fantastic as well and they have a huge coffee and kombucha selection”
“I live in the middle of no-wheresville, and the closest GE is 20 mins away, which is unfortunate due to it also being my pharmacy. Someday, I'll do the mail drugstore thing, but until then, I get to complain about the distance. ? This GE, however, is even farther from me, but when in the area, I make a point to stop here. I find it amusing that they have a full service bar. "Honey, enjoy your martini while I gather the groceries." lol love it!
They also have an exceptional selection of groceries.”
“This place has a lot of different yummy finds! What made the experience even better was the very kind woman working there. She was the most friendly and kind person I've ever met. ❤️”

“Cheap yet good quality groceries. This particular Aldi is very busy, yet the lines and crowds are usually manageable. Staff are nice enough (and get to sit while they ring you up, yay human rights).
Lots to see and do in the area. It's the Waterfront, after all.”
“I recently purchased 4 pounds of the fresh made Polish kielbasa for Christmas Eve and my family was very pleased with the taste feeling it is the best they have ever had. Kudos to the butchers. Thank you.
Marie Dempsey”
“I've been shopping there for a long time and I really like it, they have a good variety for the most part, but I especially like the gift n flower section. It's a nice place to shop.”

“If you've seen documentaries about budget grocery, you're probably getting a fair idea that the way the world works now isn't ideal for a lot of service crews, including PHC Aldi. At the end of the day, the people make the place: The management has always been as helpful as available, the staff are kind and real, and I've never had a problem finding help or finding something at the store. Good stuff.”
“Prices are definitely better than (for example) Giant Eagle for comparable products (e.g., chicken thighs being something like 40% less). However, the range of products is pretty limited (e.g., dried spices didn't include things like garlic powder, very limited produce, etc.).I'll go back for meats, but will definitely have to complete my shopping elsewhere on most occasions.”
“Love a small business old time feel not over bearing with trying to big but still give our community bargains thank you for that one of the only places you can find foot long hotdogs buns”
“Bailees bistro food truck is there every Friday 4 to 7. Do yourself the biggest favor and go get something from her. I had a gyro w fries. I'm from Chicago, and have yet to find a gyro home worthy. THIS IS!!! Portions are huge but that doesn't matter your going to want to eat it all I promise. The fries have a seasoning on them that's almost like a season salt and totally brings them to another level. Her food reminds me of sitting in my YaYas kitchen having a gyro from the best place around the corner! Thank you for giving me a taste of home!!!!”
“Get ?? the ?? kimchi!!! ??
From what I understand, they make it themselves. I got to try some of what my friend bought when we visited a few months ago and was instantly hooked… and then addicted. I would eat, sleep, and breathe the stuff if it were humanly possible. If you’re a kimchi fan, I urge you to try theirs!”
“I choose to support Golden Dawn because they are a small business and not a corporation. We always buy their meats then other things. They do try their best to please customers and they have been, even with the new owners. Prices are to be expected a little higher than bargain-off brand grocery stores. I'll continue to give them our business.”
“We need them zucchini and some veg . My mom told me about potato Hash stick. Her friend told to my mom about potato Hash stick are good. We need them tomato sauce small and. Diced chilies. That 's why it was good cheap with $ for tomato sauce and too diced chilies . So well it nice there building into room. Yeah hope so Aldi try progress there more produce .”
“I love this place and it’s offerings! I just made sautéed green beans with garlic Himalayan salt and drizzled them with the Cranberry Pear Balsamic Vinegar??? Soooooo good!!!”
“An incredible place full of good product and good PEOPLE to help you get your stuff and get aht ?. Another reason I despise winter, when these folks shut down for the season.”
