“First off, I would rate this place higher than 5 Stars if that was possible. Rob is the gentleman that runs this place, he is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very personable about the entire experience of going about either helping you purchase your attire, or personalize it from top to bottom. Rob goes the extra mile when trying to find the fabric that you need. He also explains every detail of the fitting process as well as everything that you need to know. Overall, this place is fantastic and I would recommend it to anybody in search of getting fitted for a suit and other kinds of clothing. I will definitely be visiting again when getting fitted for additional clothing in the future.”
“Tonight my daughter and I were at the mall and I was looking for sneakers. Now of course I was in my work clothing so it didn't look like I wore sneakers but still. So we went into foot locker and there were three associates standing in the middle talking. No one said hello or anything. Then as I was looking at shoes not one person came up and said a word to me. I even looked over at them and nothing so I left. Then I came into Villa and as I walked on someone greeted us. Then while at the shoes one lady was super nice and then a guy seen me going shoes and came right over and said can I help. I ended up getting a pair of sneakers and even asked his opinion on some stuff. Then when checking out the lady was super nice.”

“This place is the best. They’ve got the widest selection of skate products I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to a lot of shops. Tons of decks from companies big and small. All the shoes you want. Really nice clothing selection, along with hard goods like wheels, trucks, and bearings. In my experience there is always a good independent skate video on while you shop. But besides the products, this place is a community center for skateboarding. You won’t find locals meeting up in a corporate mall store. At Holistic, skaters come here to meet up and explore the city, to eat food together, to spend time together and keep their boards going. I’ve seen kids come in off the street and a skateboard has literally changed their life. Skateboarding gives people a sense of meaning and a reason to stay away from the negativity that can overtake life. The owner JD is 100% committed not only to skateboarding but also to the Reading community. He makes sure all are welcome no matter who you are. This place is top notch and you have to check it out. Even if you don’t skate you can find a great outfit here. And if you haven’t been to Reading before, JD or whoever is working the shop will give you suggestions on local food and things to do. “One of the cleanest and most organized thrift stores I have been in in years! Displays are trendy and thoughtful, the merchandise is in near-new condition, & priced fairly. Lots of space for thoughtful shopping and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.”

“Store is a clean, traditional Hot Topic. Everything was in order and in accessible places as it should be. Stock is well maintained, and overstock doesn't look like overstock.Save for one employee who wanted to talk about work more than do work, employees are helpful and knowledgeable... Or best that can be considering changing inventory and confusing layouts I assume it's from cooperate.Constructive criticism: customers are more important than conversations, and shirts should be more easily located: they are alphabetical, but they're not. Hard to be when you have the alphabet split on two walls, eg with different Sailor Moon shirts on each.”
“The staff here was a true hero working with me to put together a last minute surprise for my parents and in-laws. We designed the prints together. She took my vision and ran with it to make it even better than I could have imagined. Her attention to detail was impeccable and the little touches she added really elevated the designs. When I asked if she could put it together by the next day, she asked me to come back in half an hour. The expedited process, the beautiful products, and helpful staff all exceeded expectations. “My girlfriend and I went to visit this store for the first time. Very cool store. There were too many things we wanted to buy lol! A lot of the reviews list about pricing, which the prices are high, but that's normal in the world of western wear. We will be back to look at the boots once more. The staff there was very nice and friendly. We were asked if we needed any help, and left to do our own looking around. There was a gentleman there, which we presume was a general manager of some sort. He was keeping a good eye on the store, and seemed knowledgeable on the products being sold. He helped out a couple customers here and there, and seemed like a very nice person. We had no issue with customer service. In fact I signed up for the rewards program right then and there. We left the store with a hat that I bought! Will definitely go again.”

However, my experience with Paul Fredrick's customer service has been mixed. Most agents are very matter-of-fact, often sticking rigidly to the script and lacking the empathy one might hope for. This can make interactions feel a bit impersonal and transactional.
That said, my primary interest lies in their shirts. I’ve found that the value of their other items doesn't quite match up to that of their shirts, so I tend to stick with what I feel they do best.”
