Over the past month, I had 4 sessions with fitness trainer Michael Katz. After a thorough assessment of my strength, balance, and fitness level, Michael proceeded to teach me what I can do to improve in those areas. On our 3rd session he met me at the gym in my 55+ community. There he showed me how to best use the weights and equipment available to me. He set up a program that I can follow, and provided me with a fitness binder that includes pictures and descriptions of the many exercises I can perform using weights, machines, or just my body. Together we found the right amount of weight that is safe for me to use while building my strength. These sessions and the knowledge Michael provided has empowered me to feel confident in the gym and confident that I can improve my strength, balance , and fitness level. Michael is extremely professional and kind. My safety was a priority for him at all times. I highly recommend Michael Katz to help you reach your fitness goals.

I have enjoyed working with Mike Katz, master of MAD Fitness, since I started working with him last year. Mike is a true knowledgeable professional. He pushes me to make progress every week. I have accomplished weight loss goals, health goals, and fitness goals. I very much appreciate my friend Jerry for introducing me to Mike. My weight is down 15 pounds, my diabetes is under much better control, and I participated in my first ever 5K race. Mike drove an hour each way to cheer me on in my race! I was very impressed! Could not have done this without Mike's talented oversight, and positive encouraging manner.

Michael has uncanny grasp of kinesiology and anatomy which he applies with great skill having analyzed your particular strengths and weaknesses.He applies this skill without you even realizing (initially) it due to his affable and supportive personality.I would strongly recommend,without any reservations, that anyone with muscle or joint issues seek his assistance.You won’t be disappointed.

Great Experience! Michael has been my trainer for six months and continues to impress. Michael creates innovative workouts and provides access to modern equipment. He is invested in my results and educates me along the way. He provides reference tools and tips for nutrition and meal plans.Michael has proven to be flexible as my fitness goals change. I originally obtained his services for weight loss. I saw results quickly and then shifted my focus to coordination and balance after he introduced me to the BoBo Balance Board.I highly recommend MAD Fitness to train with Michael. This is the best investment I made in years.

Michael is fantastic to work with as a TPI Fitness instructor. He has dramatically increased my mobility, stability, flexibility and overall strength. I also asked him to help with nutrition for high cholestrol and in one month I have lost 4 lbs and feel much better. Looking forward to continuing my fitness journey at MadFit.

i go to MAD fitness for weight training but would trust mike with help for any kind of exercise in or out of the gym for every type of person whatever their needs are. i told mike exactly what i was looking to get out of training and he follows through with all of it. Mike is able to explain difficult movements into easy to understand ways that you can use on your own as well as answer all of my questions that I have about exercise or diet. no workout is the same and he challenges you really hard so you get the most out of each workout where you will also have access to equipment you can't use in most gyms like cables with air pressure resistance

Michael takes the time to understand your pain points, and where to improve. I played a lot of golf and baseball growing up, and had shoulder surgery in my early 20's. Now my shoulder gives me a fair amount of pain after I play a round of golf, so I decided to go see Mad Fitness. We talked about the issues I've been having, and ran some diagnostics. After a few short sessions, Mike created a program which I'm using and I'm already feeling less pain and tightness. If you experience sports related pain, or just want to figure out how to improve your golf fitness, Mike's program is great. Mike's father also runs a great driving range and pro shop facility.

Mike Katz is the Real Deal as far as a trainer is concerned. He knows the body well, because he has studied it! He's serious about what he does. He's almost like a physical therapist and trainer all in one! Personable, honest, works hard in workouts so that form is just right! Workouts are always interesting and challenging. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a special person they can trust!
