Always a great experience with Tony + his staff! Tony brings years of experience to his craft + also listens to what you say you want in a hairstyle(lots of layers for my fine hair, etc.). My colorist also does a great job highlighting my hair + covering my grays. I've been going to Love Salon for at least 10 years❤

I originally wasn’t going to post a review, until many people encouraged me to share my experience from 2 months ago and warn other ladies. I had a horrible experience getting my hair colored here.
I went in for a simple balayage maintenance (lift up the growth) before a big wedding weekend. I sent pictures of what my hair looked like when I last got it done and the inspo pictures that I had shown to my prior stylist (unfortunately, my prior stylist was taking a break from doing hair).
I ended up spending almost 10 hours at this salon over the course of 24 hours. I was bleached/processed 4 times due to the mistakes of the stylist (which were acknowledged by both the stylist and other staff). My stylist couldn’t even comb my hair without breaking hair off. She was incredibly rough, until another stylist came over and taught her how to do it more efficiently and smoothly. In the evening, the owner was trying to close up the salon, so he came over and started tugging to get knots out (causing more damage).
By the 4th time, the coloring was getting us to a “better” place after the initial 3 bleaches… I’m now left with an incredible amount of damage, loss of time, and not the look I wanted to simply maintain. My hair color isn’t blended at all and it’s fried. It looks like the 2000’s chunky highlights instead of a balayage. This was 2 months ago and my hair is still falling out in clumps daily.
I wasn’t offered any sort of treatment to address the damage they had caused. I still paid when I left the salon. But when I got home and talked to family/friends, all of them were appalled and again, encouraged me to ask for a refund. So I did, and the stylist said they would. A week went by and no refund. I had to call the salon again which is when they finally gave the refund.
I didn’t receive any apology from the owner or staff aside from the stylist, who genuinely appeared apologetic.
I’m now working to get my hair healthy again, so then I can have this treated and fixed before my own wedding. The results are truly embarrassing. And I don’t want any other ladies to have to experience this. I was the only one getting my hair colored there on both days. I think they get more clients for haircuts here. The stylist just had no idea what she was doing and had very little to no support from the owner and other staff.

Very nice and cozy salon. The staff is very polite and the wonderful woman who cut my hair did an excellent job.

The salon is a beautiful and relaxing environment. My hair stylist, Jenny went above and beyond what I asked. She is such a bubbly person and made what usually is an anxious experience, a fun and enjoyable one for me! She made sure my highlights were fully processed and looking great! She made sure I knew what was happening each step. Love my hair!

Abby has been doing my hair now for a year. My color looks great. I went with a lighter blonde when I went to her. It covers my gray hair well. I always look forward to seeing her, she is always nice, professional and we have some laughs. She listened to what I wanted and helped me to achieve that color. I give her 5 stars for my color, if I could go higher on the stars I would!!!

Had my consult today with Tony and I'm so happy to find someone in the burbs who speaks my language when it comes to the cut I'm looking for.
It's been a long road from a hatchet job 2 years ago, to taking matters into my own hands ( I don't want to be a hairdresser ) to not finding anyone who is versed in this technique.
Excited for the cut next month!

-love salon: Phoebe came in awestruck (she’s 6) and commented, woah!!! They must work soooo hard to make this place so beautiful! She was dazzled by the cozy sitting area with drinks and snacks and said that she felt so relaxed during her haircut that she could have taken a nap. Ha! Thank you for making this day so special for her!
